Dos Osos Golf Club

This course has really done a 180 ever since coming under new ownership. I've been playing this course pretty consistently the last 5 years and this was the best I've ever seen it. Fairways were lush and greens were impeccable, and for only $36 at 8 am?!

Played this course again after last playing a couple months ago. While the course conditions haven't improved as much as I would have hoped for by now, the course layout and beauty of the area still made for a great day and great round of golf.

The greens, tee boxes and fairways (for the most part) look good, but you'll often find yourself hitting off hard pan if you miss the fairways by 18 inches or more. As for the sand traps, I won't even go there.

Not a bad value for the money. Just wish they'd take better care of their property. As for the staff, they're awesome. Very friendly and attentive.

Eagle Crest greens have to be some of the best a public course has to offer. Hats off to the superintendent for keeping them lush. We played as a twosome and went around in 3.5 hours. A good course for a round of $20.

I haven’t played golf at Eagle Crest in years and was happy to see the excellent condition the course was in. Fairways were green and the greens were in great shape! This course is a hidden gem and the value to play here is second to none! My hats off to the new management. I look forward to playing at the “Eagle” real soon again!

Nice course, good value, but It needs big improvements on the bunkers, there is no sand at all, just dirt/mud.

Good job Eagle Crest Team. A year or so ago the course was in bad shape as there was water/well issues. Well, I can safely say that the Eagle Crest Gold Club is back on my short list. From the Tee Boxes, to the fairways, to the greens, the course is back. Kudos to the team out there and keep up the great work. See you this Summer for sure. What a difference a year makes.

Great course and challenging we plan on coming back with my two grandsons they will love this course. I’m from AZ so I want to get in as much golfing as possible before I go home to the heat. Really pretty tucked away near vineyard so stopped on way home for some wine tasting.

Eagle Crest has the potential to be something awesome. Large multi section greens and some risk reward play make this a great place. Once they figure out the bunker sand and clean up the edges around the course it will be one of the better ones to play. Enjoy the multiple water features, elevation changes and awesome views while chasing your ball around this one!!

Had not played course in about 6 months due to poor conditions. Decided for $20. I'd give it a try again. Very glad I did. Obviously Billy Casper Golf is making positive improvements to course - fairways are filling in with grass; greens, although recently punched & sanded, were rolling fairly true and good speed. Overall look & feel shows marked improvement. Hopefully it will continue to improve as layout is fun and challenging.

Good course with exceptional views, not overly challenging but will make you keep your game up. The course grounds are ok there not perfect but they could be. I will definitely play here again, and I do recommend this course.

I had written a recent review. The course continues to improve, ie greens are good fairways improving and good, rough still a work in progress. My one problem with Eagle Crest is that it is very difficult to find distances. Some Sprinkler heads have distances; others don't. Some fairways have one fifty markers in the middle; some don't. One hundred, one fifty, and two hundred fairway markers are largely gone or grown over. I am a traditionalist, and even if a did use a range finder, I would prefer the course included the visual. With the course receiving regular maintenance and other improvements, this needs to be a priority.

What a difference a year makes. Lot of work evident primarily with the greens. They are in excellent shape. Tee boxes too and most fairways are fine. Some deep rough so important to stay on course.

Great rates available. Nice driving range and practice greens.

Folks in the clubhouse were great! Not really a pro shop but if you need some last minute items, they got them.

Nice layout. Most traps are of the hard dirt variety so can be tricky if you are used to sand.

Can get busy but our pace of play was pretty good in a Wednesday afternoon.

Will definitely return.

We played early (7:52) pace of play was fine, after we passed a five-some that somehow formed in front of us, a course marshal would be helpful. Greens are good except for 2 or 3 and the fairways are filling out and generally are nice. Overall an enjoyable round at a good price.

Nice course, greens are in great shape, challenging but the sand traps need a lot of work, only two holes have real sand.
