The Course at Wente Vineyards

The Course at Wente is the BEST non-private golf course in N. California. Even better than most private courses in area. I would highly recommend this golf course.

I have been wanting to play this course for a very long time, and today, a weekday at noon, the price was right. Everything about this course is superb, including the course layout, attention to every detail of maintenance on this course, and a sense of friendliness and genuine care from all of the staff members.

Awesome golf course. Plays pretty long even from blues. Golds would be a beat-down. Greens were fast and some had subtle breaks, some big slopes.

Scenic is an understatement. Course was gorgeous and the surrounding area was stunning. The layout was great too, and pretty tough. Pace of play was perfect and well managed.

Wente is always in fabulous condition, whether summer or winter. In fact is was two days after it rained and the course was great and it was not cart path only. The setting of Wente is outstanding in the Livermore wine country, with vineyards along the fairways and the rolling hills surrounding the course. Do to the setting, all the holes are unique and offer different challenges. The greens and fairways are well manicured and the sand traps are in great shape as well, not that you want to get in them. Go and play, you will not be disappointed and enjoy wine tasting after the round.

I had a fantastic day, with wonderful conditions at a course filled with beautiful fall scenes. It presented 18 challenging holes, all of which were in perfect condition.

I’ve played the course twice now and loved it both times. You may not shoot your low round here but odds are you’ll capture some Kodak moments. Lots of interesting holes, elevation changes and challenges. Likely helps to play it a few times to figure out strategy. Greens, bunkers and fairways were in excellent shape. My only regret was the long drive back to Palo Alto during rush hour so couldn’t finish with some wine tasting

Even though I have only been playing for about 5 months, this will probably be the most beautiful course I'll play in a long time. It's not easy, especially for a rookie, but the views are stunning, fantastic and friendly service and what's better than combining golf, nature and wine? Hit a par on hole 3, which I'm pretty proud of :-) Can highly recommend!

Wente is one of the best maintained courses in Northern California. Everything about the day was perfect, including the beautiful weather we get this time of the year, Its unusual to Not have wind in the Livermore area.

Challenging golf course great holes to play fabulous views of the Pleasanton Livermore Valley. You won't be disappointed

Feels like you are playing in nature lots of grapes around for tasting and quiet surroundings

Extremely nice experience. Great vista views and the playing condition is really nice. Bunkers well maintained, landscaping in general is top shelf and (importantly) pace of play was very comfortable. Great way to have spent an afternoon.
