The Course at Wente Vineyards

Played here yesterday with a threesome. Course was nicely maintained. Got harassed by the starter for parking my cart off the path near the third green. No beverage cart service at this place and It was a 97 degree day.

The snack bar at the 9th hole was closed.

Finished the round and was super disappointed to find that the grill was closed at 6:30PM. And the bar closing at 7:00PM on a Wednesday night.

They just punched the greens so putting was not a good experience. They should have told me about that when I called. It wasn't bad but I expected something better.

Look....we were looking forward to playing...and my mate from Australia had came all the way...and we get there and the greens had literally just been covered in sand....so...the team in the pro shop were completely awesome ... Only charged us $75 each...and gave us 2 extra rounds at half price...everyone was so friendly and polite...what a great setup...want to go back....

One of the nicest layouts ever played. The elevation changes added a very nice element and fairways and greens were in superb shape. A great course to play if in the east bay area.

This is a nice course with an interesting layout. I got a great deal but would not pay $119 at 2:50pm on a Tuesday. Course conditions were average with very slow greens, but they rolled true. The facilities are tiny and need updating. This is a $50 weekday and $75 weekend course, nothing more.

It started off with Mike at the front desk, he was very personable and welcoming. The starter had great course knowledge and the course itself was in great shape. I would play here again in a heartbeat!!

Defenetly one of the best courses around, highly recommended....

This course has many different hole designs. Well groomed and fast greens.

This is a beautiful course with each hole well laid out.

Played the Friday of US Open week and was paired with a couple dudes from the Phillipines who were here fulfilling their dream to see Tiger play in person.

My buddy and I played the WAYYYYY back tips that they used in the Nationwide Tour event here a few years back, which is why I rated it "extremely difficult"

Course was in very pure shape, although the greens could've used another couple feet on the Stimpmeter (my local muni has greens that are faster). They were by no means terrible, though. Course layout was great, challenging. They Pro in the Pro Shop was super nice, offered me a yardage guide after a brief chat.

Only really negative is the course is totally unwalkable, which is a "sad face" in my book. But the views are really good.

A pretty decent course (though a couple of holes are under repair so they don’t play to par or the gps) ruined by surly people at the front desk and appallingly bad service in the Grill..

I’ve always enjoyed this course even if it feels a bit tricked out . The staff are mostly rude in the golf shop and in the grill. Service is terrible. I hope the manager reads this. I’m an old friend and I wish these issues could be fixed.

We loved this course playing through the vineywards.. Challenging changes in elevation, beautiful views and friendly staff. Definitely would play here again next time we are back in the area.
