The Course at Wente Vineyards

I have played this course at least ten times, probably more.

The course is fun to play, forgiving at times and challenging at others

The greens are always in perfect shape, and even though you don’t see dramatic curves, the greens are very challenging

I highly recommend anyone to try it

I highly recommend this course. It is very pricey, but you can get a deal at twilight. It was a Sunday and we were disappointed that we never saw a beverage cart and the snack bar at hole 9 was closed, but other than that the course is amazing!

Very Nice Course and staff - - but bring your own drinks and food

Halfway shack out of everything but small bottles for mixed drinks - - food cart never made it to us, but we called in and she was nice enough to meet us on 13th with some sandwiches and soft drinks - - very nice gesture on their part

The course, staff and amenities are all awesome. Won’t disappoint

I’ve never seen such a course that every hole is worth photo taking. Great tee box location! Nice fast and smooth green.

Course conditions were great. From tee box to fairway and greens the grounds were impeccable. I hadn’t played here in a while (since my days as a beginner ) and I was very impressed. I am fortunate to play many of the private clubs in the east bay, and the course conditions here rival or are better than most. Had a fantastic round. Keep it up.

From start to finish and tee to green it was an amazing day on the course. Booked a Sunday, 12:20 tee time pace of play was great. Hardly saw anyone all day. Tee boxes in good shape, fairways neatly mowed and greens receptive and slick. A must play if in the area.

Greens were still playing relatively fast for aerated condition that we saved money for. Fairways are well manicured and bunkers were top notch. Staffs were very friendly and understanding. Rangers were looping around to check on anything such as lost clubs. Had a good pace of play.

I played Wente for around $70 which was an awesome deal. Beautiful course situated in the wine country. Range balls, cart and two bottles of cold water were all included. Course was in a great condition. Greens were in good condition but not ‘fast’. I would certainly go back to Wente.

Wente is always in great shape and the layout is so much fun. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the halfway house was not open and there was no beverage cart making the rounds on a hot Saturday afternoon and we were pretty thirsty by the ninth hole. For what they charge for round, I think all those amenities should be available, other than that it was a good day.

Front 9 was great, pace on the back 9 was way to long
