Fun day at TCI
Got a good deal at Golfnow. Played Creek to Oak and had a good time. Course was in nice shape. Greens a little slow. Guys in the pro shop were great. Starter was a little gruff. Would have paid $20 to have a marshal on the course. The group in front of us was ridiculously slow... sort of tainted the day. All in all good time though. Very nice facilities.
Nice Course
My Dad and brother were out here from Jersey and they wanted to play a course I haven't played yet so we play Oak/Stonehouse. It was a nice, challenging course that we all enjoyed. .
great course
awesome course friendly staff good food would highly recommend this course to anybody.
Beautiful course
Course is beautiful and well cared for. The greens were excellent and putting surface was consistent.
Always a treat
I went there to play a practice round for an event I'm playing in this weekend. Sometimes you forget how beautiful this place can be. The weather was just perfect and the colors were spectacular. Three nines; all different, all great. I can't wait for the weekend to see friends I only see once a year and to play this fun golf course 2 more times.
Temecula creek
The course was shape . The greens were a little inconsistent but all in all a great value for the money
Temecula Creek Inn
The course is interesting and offers three distinct 9 hole environments. Greens were not very receptive and speed varied a great deal. Bunkers were very wet making sand saves impossible (not due to rain). Driving range is small and only uses rubber mats. Service of Staff was very good.
Overbooked
Course was over booked, took almost 5 1/2 hours to play a fairly easy straight forward course. Certainly not worth the money. No bag drop and staff was certainly not friendly or welcoming. We will not play this course again. No marshall monitoring the pace of play. Carts were ricketty and didn't seem like they would make it around the course. Restrooms on the course were not fit to be used. Everything was very old and not maintained. If you can get passed these things the course was easy no challenge just hit your dirve, then either chip or sort iron to green. Every hole looks just like the last one.
Really enjoyable round of golf
We played Stone House to Oaks and it was a great day. The Stone House course is much more challenging than the Oaks, with a lot less forgiveness off of the fairways. There were also a lot of places where you could get into trouble even with good shots, simply because you played a club too long and couldn't see the trouble from your previous lie. My buddy and I both got into trouble a few times after hitting great shots, but since it was both of our first time playing, we didn't realize there was a huge run off on the other side of a hill. Each hole on Stone House is fairly sheltered from the other holes, although when there is a breeze rolling through Temecula, the course is situated so that every hole has a cross wind. Makes thing very challenging.
Greens were in great shape, we didn't get caught behind any other groups until we got to 15, and the only complaint about the course was that there was no cart girl during the time that we were there. Overall a very enjoyable day and course.
Great coarse fair staff
The coarse was in great shape, but what made this only a fair round was the staff. The pros hop staff acted like we were a burden. No hello, welcome to Temecula Creek. Nothing but a frown as we were checking in. We didn't see a beverage cart until we were playing our 17th hole. When we stopped at the bar between the 9th and 10th hole we had to wait 15 minutes just for a glass of ice. They weren't that busy, it just took that long. The coarse itself would be the only reason to come back, but there are better coarces, with better staff in Temecula to play.
Nice Track
This two nine combination is a nice track to relax and enjoy the day. Scoring is good. The course was in good shape and staff accommodating.
We were able to start earlier than our start time due to openings in schedule. We caught the group in front of us after three holes and that is when we found out the some locals lack the manners suggested by the game. They were slow, very slow as if every putt was worth a nickel. We followed them for the next 15 holes waiting on every shot.
Even though the round only took just over 4.5 hours we easily could have played in 3 hours. Our twosome was joined by a single following us for the back nine and never did the front group offer to let us through or back at the turn.We never saw the group in front of them and never saw a marshall. It left a very bad taste in my mouth for such a nice day and great weather. Course management is as important as the conditions and I am surprised at JC Resorts staff for not providing superior service.
outstanding
I really enjoyed the round played and look forward too playing there again soon
Just a bit boring
I'm a bogey golfer on a good day so for me to call any course boring is saying something. Lots of straight holes with wide fairways. Challenges come in the form of tree-lined fairways and thicker rough so being in the short grass is more important.
I read somewhere that the Stone course was tough so I avoided it. If I had it to do over again I'd try that one.
excellent course
Played creek and oaks. Would definitely play here again.
TCI has great character !
TCI did a great job managing a big crowd that day - there was a large ladies event going off. Having 3 nines really helped matters. The Oaks 9 is fairly open and flat, with some long par 4s. Holes 2-4 are a great stretch. The Stonehouse 9 is incredible, maybe not as long but hilly and narrow, carved out of the live oaks. Incredible character and # 9 is a great finishing par-5. Always enjoy our trip to TCI, and then of course winery tours after. Thanks !
Good Variety and Well Maintained
they have three 9 holes courses to play. Green roll true and fairways are in great shape. Bunkers do have sand in them. Nice layout and each course has a different level of challenges. Stonehouse is the most difficult, then Oaks and Creek is pretty flat and straight forward. Go Play!
Creek to Oaks
The course was in excellent shape. The greens rolled well and the fairways were kept nicely.
Any type of player can play this course
Course was in great condition.. Very playable golf course.
OK
Fees are the same whether you use Golf Now or not. I don't that is fair value considering you have to pay golf now a fee. Would have been better off booking directly without using golf now.
An Enjoyable Experience!
The staff at Temecula Creek Inn were awesome, and I was made to feel special from my first encounter. The course was in excellent condition and the weather was perfect. I was a single who booked through GolfNow.com and was paired up with three fun guys, which ultimately created an enjoyable round and great overall experience! I enjoyed the facilities and course so much that I purchased their JC Players Card. Temecula Creek Inn is a must-play!!
