Desert Mirage Golf Course
About
Desert Mirage Golf Course offers a public, nine-hole course and a fully stocked pro shop. The course has a traditional design but that does not mean it is boring. It is perfect for squeezing in a quick game or for beginners and kids. The course is relatively flat, but there are some hills on the course that can affect shots. The greens are medium sized with some slight undulation and the generous fairways are wide open. There are also water hazards and bunkers that come into play on a few of the holes. Desert Mirage Golf Course's signature hole is the par-4 ninth. It requires a tee shot over a lake to an island green.

Great Little Course, and Great for Kids
A fun nine hole course that has a straightforward layout and is great to take the kids to. The other golfers that play there are friendly and were happy to see kids playing golf, so no impatient groups were encountered.
Nice course
Course was easy to play.any shot that was offline you can recover easily.par 3's very easy.Good value for the buck.
Okayish course
Not a very well kept course the only good hole is the 9th
Went just for fun
A friend (who hadn't golfed in 3 yrs) and I went just for a stress free, quick round of swinging clubs and hitting balls. We had a great time! Of course we would have had a great time wherever we went. Wouldn't bother with a cart. They are slower than walking. Backed up at every hole (we didn't care). But ,hey, it is only $10. What do you expect. :-)
Has good features
First time out for this year, did better that I thought
after a winter of not golfing.
Frank has turned us away twice.
This was the second time Frank has turned us away. The first time I called and he said we have plenty of tee times. I show up with all the kids and a large group snatched up all the tee ties and carts for the day.
Now apparently they have a policy that a 17 year old cannot operate a golf cart. I am tired of this kid making up excuses not to let myself and my children on the course.
Even though this is a First Tee programming site Frank will not let you out on the course with your kids. Don't waste your time.
DESERT MIRAGE 9
VERY GOOD ROUND, NOT RUSHED OR HURRIED.
BOTH PARTNERS SAID THEY ENJOYED THE COURSE.
Sheesh!
Course is NOT for experienced golfers. It was close by so I thought I'd give it a shot. Group in front spent 10 minutes trying to hit their second shots. One player as trying to give instruction to the player who was whiffing, etc.
That said, it is a learning golf course so it was to be expected. But if you're used to expecting players to know golf etiquette, this course will drive you nuts.
very friendly staff, nice course
no snack bar or restaurant open. I would go back after overseeding
Good Course to get a quick 9 in!
Overall, not bad for a park like setting golf course, however, the grounds crew should improve the condition of the fringes. Some are very barren, lots of weeds and dirt in some areas. Your cart will take a beating on the paths, full of holes and water. Go Slow!
Teeing areas and greens not bad, condition of fairways OK.
Think the greens fees are a bit high unless they improve the conditions around the greens
Great value
Executive style course, with a mix of par fours and longer par threes. Greens were in excellent condition. Fairways were in good condition. Terrific hot deal value at $7 for 9 holes including a cart, but even the regular rates are quite reasonable. Half Round took less than 2 hours. Practice putting and chipping green also in excellent condition. Driving range available, but not used this time.
Nice place
Lots a fun, good place to learn! The pricing a very reasonable, and the driving range is well kept up and always open. Staff was mostly friendly, owner isn't to nice! He couldn't care less about you, only cares about HIS course and HIS GOLF CARTS
Great little 9 hole course
Played really slow but that was due to the foursome of pros in front of us. We will go back its a fun course to play and the staff is friendly .
Green are great, fairways are thirsty.
Green are great, fairways are thirsty, but very playable.
Staff was very friendly, felt like you were at home. Great place to take a beginner. Wife loves it :) Booked a time for next week as well!
It's Ok
Not a real difficult course. Fairways were dry and not in great condition. Greens were Google.
Desert Mirage in March
This was a great experience. It's a moderate difficulty, 9 hole course, with just a few minor hazards and well maintained fairways and greens. We scheduled a mid-day tee time near the end of March when the temperatures were in the 80's and although we didn't see a refreshment cart until the 7th hole, there was ice water at each tee. And what a great value! Just $12 WITH cart, taxes and fees included. I'll go again without hesitation.
