North Golf Course at Sun City
About
Located just south of Grand Avenue in Sun City, Sun City North Golf Course's trademarks are the doglegs and large trees that are present throughout the course. It has many other challenges to offer including plush, elevated greens and numerous sand bunkers. Placid ponds also create water hazards that come into play on two holes. The well-maintained course is relatively flat with plenty of shade, making it enjoyable to walk. The Sun City North Golf Course facility has several amenities including a putting green and chipping area. There is also a fully stocked pro shop and full service grill and deli.

Pace
I knew going in Sun City allows 5 sums and have played behind them before. Before we reached 18 the 5 behind us were waiting, and the group ahead of us was 2 holes behind, no rangers.
Such a great course
can’t go wrong at SC North. Excellent price, nice course, nice people.
another great day
Weather wasn't good but we still enjoyed the round. we talked about how
great the greens were. With golf now the price was great. Played a little
under 4 hours no hurry no wait perfect for a foursome. Robert
Great Course
First time playing Sun City North. Had played the South course numerous times, but really enjoyed this course! I will be back!
Golf is a social game... pair people up!
pace felt very slow due to 2 twosomes ahead. Course should put them together.
Sun city seems to have a new standard of putting the pins close to the edges and on humps, making for a frustrating round.
Good value
Fun course but a bit slow-paced as they have fivesomes out often. No marshall and no beer cart. Otherwise, I really liked this course.
Rude and not helpful staff
I booked a round on GolfNow for 5:00 and showed up at 4:40. The guy didn’t even acknowledge I was there even though I was right in front of him. When I finally said “hello, how is it goin” he said “what do you need”. I then told him I have a tee time and he immediately said “not here you don’t”. I then said “oh I must be at the wrong course” . When I confirmed I was at the right course he said “we don’t have any tee times after 4”. I told him I paid for the round on golf now for 5 and he said “you will have to deal with them”. I then said, since you have been paid could I still no out and he emphatically said “no”. When I asked what time it gets dark his reply was “I don’t care what time it gets dark, it is about the people working”.
Great Day
Course is one of my favorites.Greens and fairways
in very good shape. Rough is dead grass so lot
of tight lies but lot of roll. Played in little less
than 4 hours with 3 very nice people.
Great Pro Shop Staff and fun course
Played after frost delay but pace of play was 3:40 so under 4 is great. Bunkers in great shape and consistent, and overall course in super shape. Tip of the hat to the maintenance crew.
Nice kept course.
The first time played I liked the course I came back the following week. The greens are hard to read to putt. Just about every hole got me.
For the high price of a small buckets is not enough in the bucket to practice.
Tee OFF
coarse was in great shape, bunkers were nice as well. THE ONLY PROBLEM i have with Sun City courses which i play a lot it is the fact that they let 5 somes play!! In my opinion this just slows down the pace of play!! but overall a great course for the money
Ok for the winter
Pace of play great on the back side (our front) -
1 1/2 hours. Slowed after that but not too bad.
Course was in decent condition. Overall good for winter play without spending $$$$.
Gentle course
Course is in pretty good shape and the greens and bunkers are fair (they have recently replaced the sand in the bunkers). I just turned 80 and have a bad back and a shoulder that needs reverse replacement and shot a 79 so I am pleased with the round and the course. It is flat, a little water that really need not come into play. They do sometimes put out 5somes when it is not necessary and that ruins a round for me, but otherwise for winter play it is a good deal.
Great Course
Really enjoyed this course, went later in the day at 3pm and the pace of play was really good up until the turn, but this is normal for courses around here. course looked fantastic!
Never Played
Reserved a time for my father in law undergoing treatment for skin cancer and I. We had reserved a time on golf now which had been great earlier in the week at the same course. When we arrived at the course and tried to pay the fee the staff member informed me that he would not allow us to take a cart even though it was listed as having a cart with the tee time I booked. There were carts available at the shop but he wasn't going to allow us to take them because the policy was no carts allowed out after four.
So because my father in law was unable to golf without a cart we left. Just really disappointed in the service of the attendant. Also if the rule is no carts rented after four oclock then GOLFNOW and Sun City North should know and list the tee time appropriately.
