North Golf Course at Sun City
About
Located just south of Grand Avenue in Sun City, Sun City North Golf Course's trademarks are the doglegs and large trees that are present throughout the course. It has many other challenges to offer including plush, elevated greens and numerous sand bunkers. Placid ponds also create water hazards that come into play on two holes. The well-maintained course is relatively flat with plenty of shade, making it enjoyable to walk. The Sun City North Golf Course facility has several amenities including a putting green and chipping area. There is also a fully stocked pro shop and full service grill and deli.

Course in sad shape
This course is in the worst shape of any course I've played in the Phoenix area. It was redone 3-4 years ago and now is far worst shape than before. Was a very nice and challenging course in Sun City, now the very worst!!
Great Golf
great weather, greens, and fairways. could not
beat the price.
good course, great staff
I have played 5 of the Sun City courses via golfnow - staff always treat me great. The north course layout and conditions are good, and great for the amount of play they get.
Best of Sun City
Although this is the oldest of the Sun City courses it is in the best shape of all of them. The greens are very well kept and very fast. Pace of play was normal, a little waiting on par 3's. Overall, a nice course and a good value.
A nice comfortable course to play and the layout was somewhat interesting
The course was in relatively okay shape the pace was great the fairways and greens were well taken care of would recommend this course would definitely go back and play again the staff is friendly and helpful
Great Day
Club house always friendly and helping. Facilities excellent. Course in great shape tee to green. Just remember they allow fivesomes, so pace sometimes slows down. Still finished around four hours.
Not bad
Have played this course several times this winter and it's good at around $29 Hot Deal on golf now. They allow 5 somes which slows play I believe but still played in just over 4 hrs.
After 12 o'clock of course was wide open not a soul around.weren't pushed to play, Fairways were wide straight and well-groomed a great course for the money.
Fun day even played relatively quickly as we had a five some and played in 4 hr 10 minutes.
Fun Course
The course was in Great shape. Pace of play was right on time. They really should get a refreshment cart out on the course especially on the weekends.
North Course round of golf
Was in a five (5) some. Two younger fellas (blue tees), and an older couple (white/red tees), myself
age 65ish. All nice friendly people, but made play very non flowing and slow. Let a three some play through, and they were slow.
Wind was at least a club difference, cross wind at times, at least one person was always in trouble.
If I played again would request that I not be put in a five some of such varying abilities.
Sun City North course
This is a course that caters primarily to the Sun City retirement community, most of whose members have their own carts. There seems to be a minimum number of carts available for the public and I waited 45 minutes for a cart to appear, just past my tee time. In fact, I was packing up to head home at the time. Several other players were hanging around the pro shop waiting for carts.
The course was fine; tee boxes, fairways and greens had not been cut in a while and all were shaggy. Course was in decent condition, just needed cutting. Bunkers were in good shape. Layout is fairly straightforward, a typical Sun City course, winding through the housing.
Sun City North
Nice variety of holes, not a difficult course but we'll maintained. 4.5 hour pace of play
Very pleasant afternoon!
Our foursome booked on Golfnow for under $30 with cart. That made the round very enjoyable...the pace was pretty good, just over 4 hours. The course is in the best shape I've seen it in 5 years although the greens are still a little lacking. All in all, a pleasant day with friends.
