About
Located just south of Grand Avenue in Sun City, Sun City North Golf Course's trademarks are the doglegs and large trees that are present throughout the course. It has many other challenges to offer including plush, elevated greens and numerous sand bunkers. Placid ponds also create water hazards that come into play on two holes. The well-maintained course is relatively flat with plenty of shade, making it enjoyable to walk. The Sun City North Golf Course facility has several amenities including a putting green and chipping area. There is also a fully stocked pro shop and full service grill and deli.

Stolen
Left golf bag with a golf towel laying on top of clubs and went inside to check in. Came out and someone walked off with the golf towel. It could have been worse and they walked off with everything. Un believable this happened in Sun City.
Nice course for old folks
Nice old sun city course. Since I am an older duffer the course was great. Not recommended for golfers who are advanced or want more luxury surroundings.
Course is in good condition, greens may be a little slow but were green and rolled resonably as expected.
I am nearly 80 yrs of age and shot a 76 albeit mostly from the senior tees. So, the course is not extremely difficult but has fairway and green bunkers that have good sand. I play there often during the winter. Course is not in good shape most summers.
good value and fast play
Is an easy course to walk if you want to. Pace of play is great and course in good condition. Greens still a little slow but should speed up.
Cart path only
Surprised that there was no one on the course when we arrived at 11am for a 12 noon tee time. It may have been because it was Cart Path Only! We were allowed to tee off right away and had clear sailing for the entire round. 2 -1/2 hours for 18 holes!!( 2 players)
Course was in excellent shape.
Unexpected
I don't appreciate not being told that carts must stay on the path until you get to the first tee. I also think you should be informed when the greens are running at 4-5 on the stemp and that the fairways are as long as most first cut roughs before you play. I have played North many times and it is a very good course, but I should have had the option of knowing its condition so I could choose to play when overseed conditions are finalized.
Great Surprise
When we got to first Green the hole was large, about7 inches. Was like a bowl with center to hold flag. As we played
along all the holes were same large cup. Last day course was open before over seeding so fairways were brown so
I just got more roll and more distance. Greens putted just fine. I forgot to ask what was going on when we finished
but I think it was a lot of fun. Sun City North and South has been two of my favorite courses. Those cups had to be
a lot of extra work and expense, I'm only guessing 7 but Thank You, boy was it fun!! Could this be in future?

Golfed here on Friday the 13th, and it was GOOD luck!
Good score helps. The manager on duty yesterday, should be commended. I estimated 200-250 people, carts, golf bags and a rocking patio crowd. The manager handled it all, ..... looked like single handed. Impressive! Great course too. Thanks!
Decent course for the money
Fairways are in pretty good condition, greens in real good condition, moderate speed. Clubhouse is not the friendliest but OK as you do not play in the clubhouse. Flat course with adequate bunkers. I'm 79 and did not start out putting well with a par on the first then 8 consecutive boggies, the shot 39 on the back nine. Usually shoot a little above or below 80. Course seems to improve during the winter but can be slow play then as well.
first time won't be the last time
I like this course. Once I knew where the greens were it was like magic to stoke the clubs and see the ball fly onward. Course is kept in good condition, along with the greens. Staff was friendly. Yes, I will be back to hopefully shoot a lower round than 90.
Great Deal And A Great Course
I have played here 3 or 4 times in the last year. The course is always in great shape. Some of the greens a very challenging but overall a fun clean course to play.

Sun City North course is in great shape. Well watered, neatly trimmed and the fastest greens this side of the I-17.
Great Course!
The man in the golf shop always seems to be in a bad mood. I have played this course many times and he is always grouchy. The staff at the South Course are amazing and friendly.
The course is in excellent shape. Play was really slow with two 5 somes ahead of us who were struggling. I did see a ranger one time who did not break up the two 5 somes.

everything was just fine. greens, fairways and tee boxes are all fine. sparsely played course with the snowbirds away. will get busy in a month.
Fun fast fabulous
Fun layout in sun city has long par 3s tighter than normal fairways fair greens and pace of play ausome will be back again.
107 degrees in Sun City Arizona
The round was great. I played late in the morning and into the afternoon. I was able to play alone and encountered no traffic, so the round was quick. I wanted to practice some and hit a second ball when necessary.
The course has a nice layout and is always in good condition, summer and winter. For summer players there is shade.
