North Golf Course at Sun City

The course has wide fairways with some large bunkers around most greens. Overall, the course was in very good condition. The greens were very good and provided a nice true roll. I was a single & played with 4 others which was a surprise. However, we moved pretty good but slowed a little on the back 9. It was a 4 1/2 hr. round. The guys I played with were very friendly and it made it easier to accept the slight delays between holes. I noticed a fair amount of walkers on the course. I highly recommend no fivesomes..

Fairways and greens are the nicest I've seen in awhile. Interesting course layout with five par threes and five par fives. Wide open course as most Sun City courses are. Best surprise was that the sand traps are fluffy sand not the hard dirt pan that you see on most Sun City courses. Played in 3-1/2 hours. Will definitely play this again.

I found most of the sand traps on this course! Otherwise, a good course for the money!

A well maintained course.

Fairways are wide enough so housing does not come into play.

Pace of play was good however there were some groups of 5 playing which does slow things down.

I was in awe of the shape of the course. The fairways were lush and all the greens were perfect.

Great course had a great time and a great round. The ranger was really nice and helpful. The only issue I had was with bill in the clubhouse. He is a very grumpy man and Seems he doesn't like his job. Tried cheering him up and failed miserably. Hopefully bill was just having a bad Monday. Cheer up bill life is good. Hope to see you in a better mood next time.

Range balls terrible.

Fivesoms doesn't make sense. Had to wait on every shot. Will probably deterr me from returning.

The biggest ding on the course was they sent our group out as a 5-some. I don't appreciate that--I feel rushed to keep the pace of a normal 4-some.

4 stars overall if we had been a 4-some.

The greens were in great shape, the fairways were nice, and bunkers had good sand. I'd return.

I have played most of the Sun City Courses...dollar value and access to tee times is very good. Pace of play is a real problem during Dec Jan, Feb and Mar. A 5 hours round is normal and on this date it was 5 1/2 hours.

Groups with 5 golfers, split tee sheets(golfers starting on both 9's), people walking that can barely walk , new golfers on full 18 hole course swing a club for the 1st time and not having the courtesy to play best ball. I am retired so time is not really an issue but I will not be returning to avoid the frustration. I can get around most times in 3 hours.

Way too many groups added into back 9, left all of us totally frustrated and over an hour behind of out completion time...change course policy to No entries allowed on back 9!

This course was mostly wide open a few narrow holes, but greens were rolling around 11 in awesome condition, and new sand in bunkers, fairways and rough around the greens in great condition. A great value for the price and would highly recommend this track. Even though the course was mostly open the greens had a good amount of undulation making it a challenge. Good walking course.

Course was in fair condition but play was slow. Got a good price under hot deals so what little I paid made up for slow game.

Course was in excellent shape. Fairways were well maintained and the greens rolled true. Bunkers were packed with fresh sand. Pace of place was solid for the winter months at 4 hours. Would play again soon.

Decided late morning to play as the weather was questionably, we've played Sun City north before and enjoyed it so booked a round, a little disappointed when we got there that is was cart path only and no alert on line when booking but it didn't matter, gave the guy at the counter a hard time for nothing, though the weather was windy, cold and rainy we had a great time, not a tough course when CPO, course is in great shape and will be playing there again
