About
The Sun City South Golf Course is normally a private club but during the summer months, public play is allowed. The course has a traditional layout with four sets of teeboxes for a variety of different golfing options, which allow golfers to work on a range of different handicaps. The golf course has a fair share of challenges with several sand bunkers and plenty of trees scattered throughout. There are also out-of-bounds stakes providing more difficulty. Water hazards come into play on some holes as well. The Sun City South Golf Course facility has a putting green and chipping area for golfers to use in addition to the course.

wide fairways
Greens in great shape and fairways well maintained.
The weather was iffy....
but the course was in great shape. Pace of play was great until we caught up with a slow foursome in front of us. If they were aware of golf etiquette they would have let us, a twosome, play through. Instead we just bypassed the 10 th hole and were free and clear the remainder of the round...
Tricky greens from start to finish
Fun course in Sun City. Probably much harder from the black tees.
Sun City South
Course was in decent shape. Some thinner spots in the fairway. Greens seemed in good shape. Played in about 4 hours which was good, even though we waited on every shot on the back. Range was pretty beaten up but useable. Overall course layout was good. Very open fairways and rough so hard to lose a ball. Really good option at this price. Will go back again.
Enjoyable
First time playing this course so I didn't quite know what to expect especially given the time of year (mid-Dec.). The fairways and greens were in terrific shape, and even if you were off the fairway, you were hitting off dry grass, so not to penal. Pace of play was good- our foruseome finished in under 4 hours even being slowed occasionally by the group ahead. For a flat course it was nicely designed with doglegs.
Groups of 5
Course sends out multiple groups of 5. The group ahead of us had 5 golfers and our group of three was made into a group of 5. Don't know how many more ahead of us were 5 somes also. Pace was slow. Ranger came out to give us grief even though we were right behind the group in front of us because members behind us complained about pace. (a group of 3) Maybe if you didn't send out groups with 5 in them the pace would be quicker.
The course itself is flat and uninspired. A few holes were interesting, but nothing special. Considering their policy on group sizes and harassing the wrong people for pace I'd go elsewhere to play golf. I won't be back.
Not extremely hard but for most golfers of decent level it gives you a nice challenging way to play. Probably easier to the higher level golfers. I’m not one of them. I always enjoy playing here
User Friendly Course
I am an occasional golfer and find this course to be challenging enough when compared to others in the area. The price is good and the facilities are well kept.
Sun City South
Nice course, average layout for Sun City, flat with elevated greens. The greens were excellently maintained—smooth and fast. I enjoyed my round!

Got to the course and was first that the price of a cart had gone up that day and was now 12.76 per rider. This is double the price ,then the fact they are on cart path only basis. If you are having a problem this is a bad thing Very disapppointing!!!!!!
Great value for the money
Staff was excellent. Course was very good and greens were in great shape, so we’re the fairways. For $13 this is more than a bargain Cart fee was on $6.25. Can’t beat the price for a pretty decent course. Will definitely come back multiple times.
Played walked 9 holes played with 5
Great Course, I tried to do 18 holes walking but got worn out after playing 9 holes. Played with Steve, Jeff, and Pete, and another golfer who never told me his name.
