About
The Sun City South Golf Course is normally a private club but during the summer months, public play is allowed. The course has a traditional layout with four sets of teeboxes for a variety of different golfing options, which allow golfers to work on a range of different handicaps. The golf course has a fair share of challenges with several sand bunkers and plenty of trees scattered throughout. There are also out-of-bounds stakes providing more difficulty. Water hazards come into play on some holes as well. The Sun City South Golf Course facility has a putting green and chipping area for golfers to use in addition to the course.

Sand on greens,,,,!!!! Why not advise us about sand on greens??? Had to pay for a. Cart $ 12.76 that sucks,

Had to pay for A cart ....when are you going to take care of this?.???? Not a good deal.

We should not be charged for the cart when are you going to correct this problem .
Great Layout with well positioned bunkers
The staff is super, Greens are rolling well.
Enjoyed the layout ..will be back.

Great condition
The course is in great condition. The greens roll pure with enough trickiness of the break due to slight andulations. The clubhouse is new with friendly staff. Clean and fast carts. Excellent value.
Cart fee
I should not have to pay for a cart 25.00 and or 13.00 when I use golf now. Not good get it changed 3 + months""....?....
Great course, enjoyed my day
Golf course was worth the 45 minute drive. Greens were smooth and receptive. Tee boxes are level and a few provide you with a challenge to work the ball left-right or Right-left. Water comes into play on like 3 holes. Fairly straight forward golf course.
My only complaint is both times (played the course twice) it’s taken way too long to check in. The guy working the golf shop is a little chatty and wants to know your life story. I’m here to play golf not shoot the breeze. I won’t mention his name. But I just want to tell him my name and time, have him do a few clicks and let me be on my way.
Sun City South - great day!
As usual, Sun City recreation golf greens were excellent. The rough was think in places beyond the first cut. Tee-boxes, fairways and greens in great shape. Fairways and rough area plenty wide for high handicappers.
Sun City South plays a little longer than other recreation center courses. Pro Shop and snack bar recently remodeled. The best value in the Phoenix area.
