About
The Sun City South Golf Course is normally a private club but during the summer months, public play is allowed. The course has a traditional layout with four sets of teeboxes for a variety of different golfing options, which allow golfers to work on a range of different handicaps. The golf course has a fair share of challenges with several sand bunkers and plenty of trees scattered throughout. There are also out-of-bounds stakes providing more difficulty. Water hazards come into play on some holes as well. The Sun City South Golf Course facility has a putting green and chipping area for golfers to use in addition to the course.

Best in the West!
Greens are the best I've played on this peak season.
Overall a great day and a wonderful golfing experience and I got to play with 5 different people!
Got to play with Dan and his daughter not sure how to spell her name as there are different versions! LOL
God is good to us, Amen!
Great Place to Play
Had not been here since they built new building. Very nice staff, course is still in great shape. The greens are NOT like the putting green that is going dormant. Pace was good for a busy Saturday. Very enjoyable day.
Basic golf on a course that seems taken care of
Easy to find, easy check in, buckets for towels, scattered fountains on course, carts pretty well used, tees some beat on 3' s. good otherwise, fairways good, rough variable,bunkers with ok sand, greens nice, not flat, putt well, and all are elevated, straight forward but you still have to hit good shots, lots of street crossing but most aren't busy, can take carts to lot, lots ball washers, it looks like they at least take care of this place
Great golf experience at Sun City South course
Enjoyed playing this course very much. Lots of variety of holes and challenges. Greens are very good an fast. Recommended for anyone to experience. Will play there again
Course conditions
Tees, Fairways, Bunkers & Greens where all in good condition. Greens had a good speed & rolled nice. Good practice area but practice green was not as nice as on the course so dont be fooled. Range is short so dont think about practicing your words.

Layout of course is straight forward., flat, but well bunkered. Fairways and greens in great shape, and bunkers have adequate sand. One of the first few groups out and pace of play was excellent. First time playing the course and definitely felt like an “outsider”. Staff was not overly friendly. However, based on price, course conditions, and pace of play, great day on the course and excellent value.
Great day of golf
Played on a Saturday afternoon. Pace of play was 4 hours. Got behind a 5-some of ladies on the back 9. But couldn’t complain much cause they were playing to pace. Greens were actually smooth and receptive. Fairways were green and a little soft but for the price it’s well worth the adventure and money. Tee boxes were flat and provided a good teeing ground. Range was OK. I didn’t hit many balls to really state an opinion of that. Putting green looked to have gotten a fresh coating of green paint. The putting green to the actual on course greens rolled quite a bit different. Staff was friendly and helpful for first time course players.

Fantastic conditions, Big Value
Such a wonderful day for Golf and that the Course is in ideal shape when I met up W/Chris, Leroy & Ron made the round Great. It's January & the time of year to highlight what a course can be and The Staff trully deserve Kuddos for the results. Even the bunkering sand is ideal and allowed good shots if U know how to play out of 'em. The undulating Greens seemed trickier onthe back nine and all the fairways looked beautiful carving Their way through the dormant grass. Fantastic break 4Me getting THIS course on a Golf Now Hot Deal -WOW, I'll be be back Folks. Let US All Enjoy the New Year(!)& B Well.
