About
The Sun City South Golf Course is normally a private club but during the summer months, public play is allowed. The course has a traditional layout with four sets of teeboxes for a variety of different golfing options, which allow golfers to work on a range of different handicaps. The golf course has a fair share of challenges with several sand bunkers and plenty of trees scattered throughout. There are also out-of-bounds stakes providing more difficulty. Water hazards come into play on some holes as well. The Sun City South Golf Course facility has a putting green and chipping area for golfers to use in addition to the course.

Slowest round of the year...lots of beginner golfers

Nice old course for this old duffer
This is a great course if you are an old duffer. Not a good course for low handicap golfers. Will play again with some good old boys.
greens
the course overall was in nice shape, the greens were in great shape and rolled very true. They were not super fast but very good.
Thin fairways
Course condition was overall average. Greens were in very good condition as well as sand traps. Fairways needed additional overseeding...a bit thin and patchy in several fairways. Very nice staff at course.
Great day
We enjoyed our round at this SunCity coarse. Played with nice people from the area. We will return.

wet
greens are very good fair ways wet and cut too short wet spots all over the course
excellent shape
greens were cut and rolled near normal speed. course in excellent shape.... the 5 some ahead of us was a bit slow but not real slow.... too many players for 5 somes....

We had a great rround being coupled with two gentlemen who knew the coarse and that is always helpful.

Sun City South Course
Layout similar to Sun City Country Club. This course seemed in better condition. Great value for the money.
recently overseeded
course will be in excellent shape in another 7 - 10 days. course is damp and greens are slow but that is to be expected.

Always a great day of golf here! It's got some very tough holes from the tips ,but fun and the course was in good shape from recent overseeding. We will be back again soon!
