Sun City South Golf Course

Absolutely a disaster when it comes to scheduling tee times and amount of people in the groups. I cannot believe a course would send out 6 people as a group. Then send out 2 groups of 2 ladies seperately and not even as a four some. Will never come back here. I enjoyed the conditions the greens were in but the staff and pace of play was terrible

It was just 53 degrees but luckily no wind or rain. The course was in very good shape and the staff is the best. Fairly flat course with wide open fairways, a nice change from the target golf desert courses require. Will play again and would recommend others to play. With three different tee boxes for men 6,000 6,400 and 6,800 yards it can challenge almost every golfer.

Good value for the money. Challenging greens. Friendly staff. Good course layout.

On time, golf went smooth, no long waits, will golf here again

Fair value for the money ($25)

I played this golf course several time in the past and I keep coming back. To me the layout is fairly good open wide fairway between housing. Fairways, tee box and bunkers were fairly in good shape. With the exception of several balls marked on putting greens it should have been nice, in good shape. The pace of play was good at the front nine but the back nine was a bit slower specially getting dark at 4:30 pm and cloudy condition, but the game overall was good.

I was extremely lucky as it was avery cool day and only a few golfers playing ,so I was able to play by myself. I flew around the course. It was great.

I played first time at the course with my friend. The pro shop people were very friendly and helpful. Not only advised us of a tournament being played there but also warn us of 5 some (yes, 5 some) in front of us. The pro shop didn't charge us for the range balls and gave us a discount on other purchase. once we passed the 5 some on 3rd hole the pace was excellent and finished the round in 4 hrs.

The course is in good condition and few holes with challenges. Greens with enough undulating surface gives you enough challenges. it's great value for the money.

I would go back again to play there.

Enjoyed this course,slow at first but decent time in the end( 4 hrs). Played with a young lady who was really good and two other guys,very pleasant company at a good facility.

1 week after overseeding-course was in pretty good shape. Only complaint was 5 somes were abundant. I realize pace of play was going to be slower than normal due to cart path only with a fair amount of walkers, but to add 5 somes to the mix just slowed the pace of play even more. Took nearly 4 hr. 50 min to get the round in.

Very mature Sun City course. Plenty of room off the tee, but be sharp with your iron game. Small raised greens with fairly deep bunkers and lots of undulation require accurate approach shots, and lots of touch around the greens. Staff has always been great.

This course was a perfict way to relax. not too hard not too easy, not too long not too short. The people in the clubhouse were helpfull and fun. I will be back!

We were the first ones out for the day. Played the front 9 really fast because it is not a difficult course. We turn the corner and hit #10, only to find that the course was allowing people out the back 9 in front of us. 2 groups of 5 that played so slow we had to pass them on the 11 hole. I like the course, not the surprise on #10.

This course was in very good condition for the most part. There were a few bare spots in fairways and rough. Greens were very good and consistent. This course plays long. It has 5 par fours over 400 yards if you play the Roadrunner tees. Only 3 par 3's and 3 par 5's. If not in fairways, there are plenty of trees to block your next shot. Plenty of room in fairways but fair punishment if you miss them. Can't wait to play again.
