About
Located in the metropolitan Phoenix area, the affordably priced Ken McDonald Golf Course is a championship-length course that is suitable for any level of golfer. The flat terrain of the course makes for an enjoyable stroll, while the water hazards that come into play on eight holes provide plenty of challenge. The water hazards are provided by the Western Canal, which flows directly through the golf course. The par-5 11th hole is the longest on the course at 570 yards; it is very difficult to reach in two shots. In addition to the course, Ken McDonald Golf Course offers several other amenities including a restaurant, club fitting and repairs, and professional golf instruction.

Fairway Heaven
Fairways and greens are in great shape as usual for the last few years but rising even above those standards this season are the fairways - they are a ribbon of green in the AZ desert and a pleasure to play on
Love the Track
Best value for your money in the valley, great layout green perfect as always, play 15-20 rounds a year here, always good time. you will not be disappointed.
Great course, Great value for the dollar
Play this course regularly and it has great c greens is a great value !!
2 hrs 40 mins on back nine
Marshalls are passive and unwilling to get pace of play where it should be—whenever I’ve asked them to address slow play, they always say the pace is fine. This is a 3 1/2 hour course when you’re one of the first tee times (and when playing in league play), so when it plays 4 hrs 45 mins for an 11:18 tee time, it’s a VERY frustrating experience. Unfortunately this is not uncommon, and it’s the reason why I often choose somewhere else for a mid-day tee time.
Local favorite
Challenging enough for scratch golfers. Greens are rolling fast. Beverage cart service with Kilt lifter beers.. Moderate free fees.
Just ok course
First time playing this course, it's in ok shape. The layout of the holes was good, a few doglegs. The pace of play was good, the yardage markers were weak. Not sure I will go back....nothing special.
I’ll be back!
It was a great round, the conditions were great, fairways had plenty of grass , greens were pretty speedy. Overall it’s a fun place to place and you won’t get in too much trouble from errant shots. Price was right too!
73 from the blues
Put up a 73 from blues , shouldn't have doubled #17... had great 20 year reunion round with my buddy from h.s. golf team. Course was in awesome shape and great value. Going under par next time.
