About
Located in the metropolitan Phoenix area, the affordably priced Ken McDonald Golf Course is a championship-length course that is suitable for any level of golfer. The flat terrain of the course makes for an enjoyable stroll, while the water hazards that come into play on eight holes provide plenty of challenge. The water hazards are provided by the Western Canal, which flows directly through the golf course. The par-5 11th hole is the longest on the course at 570 yards; it is very difficult to reach in two shots. In addition to the course, Ken McDonald Golf Course offers several other amenities including a restaurant, club fitting and repairs, and professional golf instruction.

Good fun for the price!
Kenny Mac is s fun golf course and a good value for your hard-earned cash. Although conditions can be spotty, the fairways are wide and open, and the layout is well designed for the space.
Good and the Bad
Course was in bad shape. Everything else was great.
Dry and expensive
Place needs water bad. Also why have bunkers if you can’t afford sand, just fill them in with grass or invest in some sand. Normally like this course but it needs some serious work for what they charge.
Best deal in the area
Although greens need some attention, the overall experience is very good and you can’t beat the price.
Confusing
One non par 3 - cart path only
Back thru parking lot hole 16 to 17/ 17 and 18 should be 10 and 11 then to back 9 (7).
Inconsistent conditions - even on greens.
Parking quite far away

Course in bad condition, greens don't have much grass very alot of weeds. Fairways are dry, hard not much grass, needs water and proper re seed. Bunkers are are hard dirt and rocks no sand.
Good municipal course.
Finally was able to get a tee time, hard to get one during winter months. Overall it was a good outing as usual.
Pace of play
Took 3 hours to get through 11 holes during a weekday. Course was in decent shape. Only paid $40 on a hot deal to play so not a total waste, but don't expect to finish 18 unless you pay premium for early rates
Pretty inferior conditions.
If the course is in this bad of condition when there has been ample rain recently, I can’t imagine what this course is like in the scorching summer weather.
Only one lay this course if you get a cheap rate and just want to get some swings in.
