West at Eagle Valley Golf Course
About
The West Course at Eagle Valley Golf Course winds through the Carson City foothills at the base of the Eastern Sierra. The links-style layout features an interesting variety of holes that provide a formidable test for even the most advanced players. The fairways are lined with native desert vegetation that grows tall enough to provide some challenge and several water hazards are strategically placed throughout. The dramatic elevation changes in the rolling landscape also require forced carries. Accuracy is vital to doing well on the golf course, offering a true risk-and-reward experience. For golfers wanting a more relaxed round, Eagle Valley offers the less daunting East Course.

Bar staff rudeness.
Overall, had a great day. Starter and there pro shop very courteous. Car lady could not be more friendly and accommodating. But when it comes to certain bar staff, it is certain that they have an attitude. If the customer asked for a particular cocktail and it deserved completely different to the way they Requested is upon the staff to accommodate. Not to tell the customer this is the way we do things here.
Wonderful golf day!
enjoyed the course very much....windy, but we dealt with it. Need to get more cart service for the west side track.
Best Customer Service
Four of us played this course so fast that they let us replay for $25 w/cart. They have a great deal to get a card for $70 that gives you all sorts of benefits that includes two free rounds w/cart, 4 drink tickets and lots of other discounts. Wish that I would have known this before, I would have called the club hours instead of booking on golf now. Course is in excellent shape, pace of play was fast, and the club house is fantastic including the pro shop.
Pace of play not good
We had a ten am tee time. No mention of delays until we reached the first tee. We were stuck behind two tournaments. We had to wait for at least 8 threesomes or foursomes to play through before we could start. Then the groups ahead were horribly slow and this continued until the thirteenth hole. At one point the marshal cautioned us to watch our pace of play, but did not appear to caution the groups ahead of us. At times we had to wait for them to hit their third or fourth shots before we could tee off on many holes.
EV West
You can't beat the price for a golf course of this quality. Overall the course is in very good condition. The greens are extremely good.
Eagle Valley
We played the West course and enjoyed it. It was a great value at around $50. The greens were really nice and very fast. Considering the lack of trees on the course the layout and shot challenges were interesting. Some standing water here and there but overall in very good condition.
Perfect Course for Travelers
Perfect course for the traveler: affordable price and beautiful course layout!!
Great layout.
Couple holes was quirky but total course challenging
Value for your money
This is the best value among Dayton, Carson, and Reno, but it also comes with some challenges.
Nice Day Out
Love the West Course. It’s challenging in different capacities. The layout, the wind, it’s fun.
Never have had a problem with Staff always good people.
West side
Second time at this golf course, first time playing the west course. Definitely thought is was more challenging than the east side. Some sponginess from overwatering, but for the most part, it’s in good shape. We will definitely be playing again.
