About
Located justhalf-hour drive from both Lake Tahoe and Reno, Sunridge Golf Club features monster holes and mammoth lakes. The 669-yards par 5 11th - the longest hole in the scenic High Sierras region and then some - draws your attention as soon as you look at the scorecard. But the 26 acres of water on the golf course will probably provide more challenge and thrills.
There's also a hole with a 300-foot drop from the tee to the fairway (No. 14), a tiny par 3 19th bet-decider hole and a ton of driveable par 4s that almost beg for you to go for it. As a bonus, Sunridge Golf Club's green fees wow many vacationers used to Tahoe pricing.

Golfer Reviews
Great course for the money
First time playing since new owners. The gas golf carts were a an added bonus. Needed a marshall. I went out as a single and immediately ran into a five some, that were not good golfers. They did let me play through and I played two holes before running into 2 foursomes and a twosome all on a pair five. I skipped a hole and got ahead of everyone and enjoyed the rest of the round. Course was in good shape for this time of year with lots of challenges.
Sunridge Golf COurse
Tight course, requires accuracy. it's not a long course and the driver can stay in the bag on many holes. greens are quick downhill.
Can't Believe it is February
Warm and Sunny Day with many players on the course.
Course is in great shape for winter and the variety of fairway layouts with changes in slopes make the course somewhat challenging. Hazards include water, mountainside, and brush.
Too frozen
The course is nice with the exception of several elevated tees on the back nine. The ground was too hard from cold weather and the ball bounced excessively!
Sunridge
Love this course! I brought a cart cover to protect me from the chilly conditions it was awesome!
Good challenge
This course gets bad reviews from some.. usually because they can't keep the ball in play. This course requires precision and patience, but is a blast to play!
Fun and challenging
This is one of my new favorite courses to play. The variety of Fairways and elevations provide a challenge even after you've learned the course. It can be a very challenging course with a lot of lost balls so be prepared
Playable course at a great Golf now hot deal.
First time playing this course. Pay attention to course guide, particullarly distances to water. Greens roll better than they look. Back nine has some severe elevation holes and can be difficult to determine which club to use especially when the wind also has to be factored in. Fairways in decent shape and starting to go dormant. Some great views on the Carson Valley and surrounding mountains. Played the course in 2 1/2 hours by myself, playing thru one twosome. Would play it again
Sunridge Fun
3rd time this year I played this course and it was a blast. No wind, not crowded and friendly staff.
The course challenges you with water holes, elevated holes, and a variety of dog legs. The first hole is a blind drive, so be on the money.
Fun Course
Sunridge is a fun course to play....Holes 15, 16 and 17 extremely challenging with the vertical drops.....it would take several times playing this course to figure out how to approach certain holes.
Great challenge
Sunridge has a great layout, but the course could really use some TLC. I’ve played there a dozen time, I come back for the challenge and the price is great. BTW I did finally have a sub-par round
Good for the money
Ended up PLAYING bye myself.
Course in ok shape, not an easy track, lot of carry shots over desert, got some pretty elevated tees.all in all fun course.Had an eagle on #8 from the fairway 143yrds out to elevated green,so l didn't get to see it.
