East at Eagle Valley Golf Course
About
The East Course is one of two championship courses at Eagle Valley Golf Course. Although it is less challenging than the West Course, it offers the same quality and entertainment. Golfers who aren't ready to take on the West will feel comfortable on the East. Situated at the base of the Eastern Sierra in the heart of the Silver Country, the golf course offers scenic views that complement the rustic setting. The layout is wide open, making it ideal for beginning to intermediate players. There are some long holes and a few bunkers but it is a forgiving course that is great for a casual round.

My review
Course was as expected older mini wide open and inexpensive
Great, open course.
Course is in excellent condition for this late in the season. Good value for the money and players keep the pace moving.
Wide adjoining fairways
This a great course for entry level golfers. Wide adjoining fairways cut down on penalty strokes. To test your prowess try the West course and that will bring your ego back to reality.
The 50 Club is a great value for folks who golf a couple times a week.
Good course for the novice golfer
We are new to the game of golf, probably greener than the grass we play on! We play this course because the terrain is flat and wide open.
The East Course is a great confidence builder.
Eagle Valley East is a great course to sort out your game. Only a couple of places where you might need to grab another ball out of your bag.
Actually fun to play. Slope rating looks fairly easy, but you still need to get on the green in (near) regulation and make a putt. Disappointing to score poorly.
Driving range is OK. Carts are due for replacement.
Nice course, fun to play
Even though I'm pretty much a straight shooter I liked the courses nice open fairways. The tall grass roughs make it easy to lose balls so be warned. Good value, I'll be going back.
Love the cource conditions. Best value for the price!
I must say it was worth the drive from Spanish Springs to play this cource. I loved the open space of the east cource. The staff was very helpfull to my party as we had never played the cource before. I"m looking forward to playing the west cource next week. I have to say that My party was very impressed with the service , cource and the condition of the cource.
And the wind did not blow
The East course is a nice 'feel good' challenge for an old-timer like me!!! Went home feeling 10 years younger
Good practice course for ease of play
This course was, as usual, well maintained. It is a relatively easy course with not too much trouble.
Nice course
course is in good condition. Nice layout, good clubhouse, friendly people. We enjoyed our round. Good value for money too!
Good food and friendly people.
Great course for a beginning golfer and children learning the game. Easy to play. Fast play. Excellent lunch menu.
Nice, open course.
This was our second time playing the East course. Its a nice, big , open layout. Great for beginners trying to build experience. Good value.
nice course/unfriendly staff/rude locals
Staff was rude from the moment I stepped inside the club house. We were a foursome and every group released after ours was either a twosome or a single. We let at least 10 groups play through and still locals were hitting up at us. At one point one of our group was threatened by two guys apparently playing speed golf. I'm an 8 handicap so I'm not looking for too many drives. Great fun course, locals need to calm down. Staff could use some training.
Great course to fine tune your game
I have lived in this area all of my adult life and eagle valley has been a staple in the community for a long while. I enjoy golfing there.
Fun Course.
It was my first time at Eagle Valley. It was in good shape. Nice practice facilities. Friendly staff. I will definitely be back.
This place has two courses
The east course in wide open. Beginner course. The west course is a bit more challenging.
Good muni' course, with better than average "greens conditions". Geese can be a problem at times.
Good local muni' with 2 course choices. Usually plays in less than 4 hours most days. Flat area, but has some good target shot holes and reasonable length from mid tee's. Find the greens to be above average for a muni' course, and a challenge to putt on most holes. You can let the driver go on this wide fairway course without too much trouble. Good play for the low muni' costs.
Great day, great course.
The course was in great shape. It's a fairly easy course but the wind that day made it interesting ....you had to think about that next shot and allow for the help (or hindrance) of that wind, so that made it a bit more challenging.
Good value
Eagle Valley East was in excellent condition for the month of April. Fairways were well maintained and greens were relatively smooth. Overall, the course was in excellent condition after the mild winter we experienced.
adequate
THIS COURSE IS SLOWLY FALLING INTO DISREPAIR. THE CARTS NEED REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, THE SAND TRAPS ARE ACTUALLY DIRT TRAPS, THE FLAGS ARE BROKEN AND THE RESTROOMS ARE UNSATISFACTORY. i HAVE PLAYED THIS COURSE REGULARLY FOR YEARS AND I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE WAY THINGS ARE GOING.
