East at Eagle Valley Golf Course
About
The East Course is one of two championship courses at Eagle Valley Golf Course. Although it is less challenging than the West Course, it offers the same quality and entertainment. Golfers who aren't ready to take on the West will feel comfortable on the East. Situated at the base of the Eastern Sierra in the heart of the Silver Country, the golf course offers scenic views that complement the rustic setting. The layout is wide open, making it ideal for beginning to intermediate players. There are some long holes and a few bunkers but it is a forgiving course that is great for a casual round.

nice course/unfriendly staff/rude locals
Staff was rude from the moment I stepped inside the club house. We were a foursome and every group released after ours was either a twosome or a single. We let at least 10 groups play through and still locals were hitting up at us. At one point one of our group was threatened by two guys apparently playing speed golf. I'm an 8 handicap so I'm not looking for too many drives. Great fun course, locals need to calm down. Staff could use some training.
Great course to fine tune your game
I have lived in this area all of my adult life and eagle valley has been a staple in the community for a long while. I enjoy golfing there.
Fun Course.
It was my first time at Eagle Valley. It was in good shape. Nice practice facilities. Friendly staff. I will definitely be back.
This place has two courses
The east course in wide open. Beginner course. The west course is a bit more challenging.
Good muni' course, with better than average "greens conditions". Geese can be a problem at times.
Good local muni' with 2 course choices. Usually plays in less than 4 hours most days. Flat area, but has some good target shot holes and reasonable length from mid tee's. Find the greens to be above average for a muni' course, and a challenge to putt on most holes. You can let the driver go on this wide fairway course without too much trouble. Good play for the low muni' costs.
Great day, great course.
The course was in great shape. It's a fairly easy course but the wind that day made it interesting ....you had to think about that next shot and allow for the help (or hindrance) of that wind, so that made it a bit more challenging.
Good value
Eagle Valley East was in excellent condition for the month of April. Fairways were well maintained and greens were relatively smooth. Overall, the course was in excellent condition after the mild winter we experienced.
adequate
THIS COURSE IS SLOWLY FALLING INTO DISREPAIR. THE CARTS NEED REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, THE SAND TRAPS ARE ACTUALLY DIRT TRAPS, THE FLAGS ARE BROKEN AND THE RESTROOMS ARE UNSATISFACTORY. i HAVE PLAYED THIS COURSE REGULARLY FOR YEARS AND I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE WAY THINGS ARE GOING.
The course is great for improving my game.
I walk this course for exercise and it is challenging enough to help me work on different parts of my game.
Good course, fairly flat. big wide fairways.
Fun course, big wide fairways, easy to hit. The greens are big and soft enough to hold shots. The locals who play there are really nice, I played with 2 different groups, on each 9 holes and enjoyed them all. The course needs work on the fairways, mainly because of the drought. I would recommend this course for novice players.
Thanks
we never had to wait! got always on the green on time or even a bit earlier!
The course is in very good shape , especially compared with some higher charging courses close by. This course has some nice long fairways, and a couple of challenges which makes the playing interestingThe Facilities are all in good shape.
We love the place, it's worth for us to drive from Reno to Carson, and now with the new Bridge a breeze.
Thank you for keeping it so nice. The staff is very friendly. We also love the Cafeteria/Restaurant with a view.
Great Value! Great Shape!
The course is in great shape. Greens roll very true and are also without blemish. Great value for the money!
