great layout
course was in good shape greens were firm and fast
rolled well rest of course was in pretty good shape
rough was very thick
Pleasantly surprised!
I had a very nice round yesterday. We have had a lot of rain recently and the course was in terrific shape minus the bunkers. Solid value for the S. Bay.
Decent Golf Course
Second time playing here, was worried about gusty wind when I arrived at the course but it died down within the first couple holes. It seems like some of the holes play a club longer than what you'd normally hit for distances from the tee (some of the par 3's especially). So that cost me a few strokes but I can't complain, I'm still just getting into the sport. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone in the south bay area, it's a great looking course that isn't that challenging until you make a mistake. I'd also advise anyone thinking of walking solo to avoid doing so. Cutting through the wildlife preserve back and forth, twice to get to 4 of the 18 holes is a nuisance.
great course
This is a great place to play 18 holes, pace is good and lots of open space to play if you hook or slice.
A little paradise in the middle of town.
Interesting course with an abundance of challenging par-5s and lots of par-3s. This was my first time there and I really enjoyed it. They made the most of this small space in the middle of town.
A beautiful fox accompanied me on the fourth hole and showed no fear when I got within 15' of him. I caught him sniffing my cart when I was teeing off.
Good for practice
The course is not long, but there are proper traps. it's good for iron practise.
Too many singles!
Very average course., if not for Golfnow deal would probably not golf here, regular green fees a bit high for quality of course!
Pretty good deal!
This is a short course with great par 5's! There is water to contend with on a few holes. They pack a lot of golf in a pretty small area. Some of the fairways were being worked on so there is some ground under repair.
Greens are pretty interesting, so pay attention or they will get ya. They are usually a little slow but the last few times I've played they were a little speedy for there.
Good course for all beginners. Good track to work on the short game.
This course is an pretty even par course.
I really enjoy Los Lagos because it is close to where I live.
It has many different lies, it's a little bit hilly which offers a
challenge. A few too many Par 3's, I can live with that.
Made a tee time due to a good deal in your internet special.
Los Lagos GC is not a full 72, 18 hole golf course. Rather a 68
golf course with a lot of par 3's. Beautiful, walkable golf course, the only problem is you have to walk the bridge four times to finish the 18 hole. If you love wildlife you will see them around the course, specially those red fox family in the 3rd hole.
Fun Course!
Well maintained! Well run course. Always fun to play. Not difficult. Staff is efficient and they let us play well before our starting time.
This course is great but had a horrible experience with the staff. Not friendly. Would not recommend.
This course is great , maintained, but had a horrible experience with the staff. Not friendly. Would not recommend at all!
beautiful small course with 9 par 3s
Challenging course with extra par 3s to catch your breath. Five holes are par 5 where you can break out driver. Tiered greens, very well kept. I saw some foxes, and hear they'll steal your lunch if you're not careful! $63 on Golf Now a little pricey, but definitely worth treating yourself every once in a while. Early twilight starts 11/3/2013.
Fun course, not too difficult, great scenery, friendly staff
The course is easy to moderate, especially based on the par 3's where the green is easily accessed off the tees. The setting is beautiful. We had what appeared to be a resident fox looking at us for a hand out, which we didn't give. The largest draw back was that the fairways seemed to have been over-watered and were soggy in several places. Pace of play was pretty good with minor delay at some holes. If you're out to have fun, this is a great place to go.
Good course for intermediate players
The holes are interesting with hazards and elevation changed with out bring too long. Good challenge for intermediate folders.
Good course, lots of Par 3's, but still challenging.
The staff was terrific, very friendly. Course was in good shape, even though it had poured the previous day.
Challenging, relatively short course.
Put away your grip and rip. Course has 9-par3's, 4-par 4's; 5-par 5's on a relatively narrow, rolling hills layout.
Not informed that aeration took place within 48 hours of tee time.
This course is a nice place to play most of the time. The course is generally in nice condition, but today we were not informed on the Golfnow website that the course aerated within the last 48 hours and the greens were in incredibly lousy condition. The greens were still covered with sand, slower than I have ever seen. Its not fair for them to charge anywhere near the price that a normal round costs. Luckily I paid less through Golfnow, however, it was still to much considering the conditions of the greens.
Course is okay but not when its being aerated.
Interesting little course. Regular green fees are too much for this course. Okay with Golf Now special rate though. However, there was no advance notification that greens were being aerated and that spoiled the enjoyment of the course. I think Golf Now should be responsible for letting people know of course conditions prior to bookings.
The course is in good shape and was not crowded on a weekend
good experience with the exception of the $18 pitcher of beer.
overpriced need to remember the course is in San Jose not
Pebble Beach.
