Located in Little River, S.C., Eagle Nest opened in 1971 and was designed by Golf Course Architect Gene Hamm. The layout is laid out across 250 acres of gently rolling land, rare for a course near Myrtle Beach. The course has been upgraded recently and includes a set of "Perch" tee boxes that play over 8,100 yards, making it the state's longest golf course.

Super senior and player-friendly tee boxes up front have also been installed. This traditional low country layout features not only rolling undulations in it but mature Carolina pines, an abundance of wildlife and beautiful natural landscaping.

Summer 25

Played 2 round sunday and monday. Pace both days was perfect. Its NMB so just know if it rains golf courses will be a litte wet. We had fun all day and all the GC employees were awesome to interact with Jessica the cart girl was my favorite. Challenging enough but playable for everyone. Can be really long.

Jerk Starter

NMB is losing its charm having these jackasss yankees down here working the courses. The starter, a nasty attitude person from philadelphia, could not have been more rude to our group of guys. Yelling at us for putting on practice green even though there were 2 groups ahead of us on tee box. Calling my friend a "smart allelic" for asking about greens speeds. COMPLETELY SOUR TASTE before starting our round. GET RID OF THESE NASTY TRANSPLANTS PLEASE.

Great golf gem.

Eagle Nest had been around for awhile. I have played it twice. The course is in good shape and all the greens are good. Tee boxes are in great condition and the layout of the course is excellent. It’s a fun experience.

Great course and great value!

I really enjoy playing this course when I visit the area. It’s a good combination of challenging holes and room for error on tee shots. My only negative are the heather grass clumps near the greens. Lost a ball in there and was only 5 yards right of the green.

Eagle nest

Great Course, my husband and I enjoyed playing the only reason I gave a three on the pace of play was it there was a group of five women playing and it seems like everyone caught up to them at the same time thank heavens they were only playing nine. They slowed us down for three holes then everything went back to normal.
