The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Have played this course quite a bit. It is a short course but the difficulty comes from the abundance of water down along the fairways and the long par 3s.

Course was in excellent condition. A few greens had some bare spots around the edges but overall great greens.

I really enjoyed this course! It was fun and very well kept. The “cart gentlemen” drove me to my car in my cart and loaded my clubs. That’s a very nice touch. The office staff was engaging and professional. Kudos all around. My first favorite Florida golf course.

The course was in very good condition. It is wide open and doesn’t beat you up. Our group is mid-high handicappers and offered us enough of a challenge to make us want to come back the next time we are in the area. The restaurant has good food at reasonable prices. The only thing that we would have liked is colder drinking water. The water stations are by the bathrooms and never cooled down. The temperature was in the 90’s.. But overall we had a great time and will definitely be back.

Has a great day at Ventura. Course is in great shape and plays fair. 3 par 3s on each side adds a different look and some fun. Fun course worth 50-60$. Driving range setup is a little strange but better than no range at all. One thing I would reccomend is bringing some water. Not very much drinking water on course. They should fix that… very hot in Florida need some water coolers.

Went for an afternoon 9 with a buddy. Ended up playing 18. Course was in great shape. A few strange tee locations if playing beyond the whites but a nice little layout. I would consider it a scoring course with several short par 4s but it makes it fun. Will definitely return.

Only big mark against it is the lack of a range but the short game practice area is adequate
