About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Travelled about 50 mins to get here. My first time. A bit below expectations. I could possibly return if i lived locally, but as it is, not likely.
Great course!
Great course to play. Very nice layout and difficult enough. Will come back again and make it my “home” course. Only negative is that we didn’t see the cart girl once and it wasn’t too busy. By hole 12 the sun was eating us up.
Always Great!
The course was in great condition. Greens were not all consistent speed wise, but were in good condition. The staff is always excellent and fun to deal with.
A gem
So courses in Florida range in price but that doesn’t always mean quality well Ventura is a GEM at $60 this course is in better conditions than courses charging twice that!
The course itself is short but delightful and worth anyone’s time for morning or afternoon out!

Ventura CC was in really nice condition and the staff were very friendly. I'd definitely play it again.
Perfect afternoon round
this course is perfect, i love the layout, especially after hole 2. greens are always excellent shape, i love the back 9 for sunset play.
Nice Course
Still in pretty good shape. The greens were a bit rough, although I think that is due to the drought so they aren't mowing them as tight. We need some rain with this heat. Greens should be rolled. I still like the course.
Short but it has it’s challenges…
This is a fairly short course from the white tees. I normally play from 6000-6200 yards (normal white tees at my home course) so I probably should have played the tips but that would have put several of the par 3’s over 200 yards. This being my first time playing it I decided to play it short. Also, it was quite breezy the day I played.
The clubhouse could use a facelift, but the course was interesting and the greens were fast and consistent. Pace of play was surprisingly good considering they probably checked in 180-190 rounds for the day. I’d probably play it again…
Not as good as a month ago
Last time I played here the course was in pristine condition. Now it’s just average. Fairways no longer lush and dirt spots in some places. Greens still fast and true. I drove over an hour to return here but won’t make the trip again. Best part was it only cost $53 per person with a Hot Deal
