The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

this course has bad drainage problems. in the summer do not expect to drive golf carts on fairways. cart path only. really soggy, standing water on the course. greens are perfect and in good condition. but the fairways are just so wet and muddy

Thanks for playing Ventura Country Club! We have had 10 inches of rain in August with only 1 day of no rain as of 8-26-2025. Needless to say, the ground is saturated. The course has handled the excessive rain and the greens are in fantastic condition!

Solid course-highly recommend

Definitely a 5-star value. Played 18 in less than 2 1/2 hours. This course is what I would call a 4 star course. It’s not Augusta or bay hill but it is maintained perfect- and it’s perfect for a golf outing with the boys. No complaints whatsoever. I would consider this course a steal.

Course was in great shape, it is a really fun layout that involves a ton of course management. However, it shouldn’t take 4.5+ hours to play a par 70, 6000 yard course. There was no Starter and we must have seen the “Player Assistant” 10 times but he was just cruising the course and doing absolutely nothing to speed up play.
