About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Ventura
Great course. Near downtown and the airport. Lots of carry and plays tough in the wind. Greens are going to be replaced according to some of the members.
Good working mans course
The course is in good condition. There are some soft wet spots around the sprinkler heads, but nothing that hinders your play. The staff was all very friendly and the beverage cart has a nice selection for a reasonable price. The pace of play on a Sunday 1 pm tee time ended up being just under a 4 hour round. I look forward to going back next weekend.

Love everything about Ventura. From the course , staff and clubhouse it can’t be beat .
Ventura
Country club style course. Great layout. Be wary of the water and carry. Pace of play can be an issue. Close to downtown and the airport.
Holiday Golf in Florida
Well maintained course. Some tee boxes showed signs of wear, but overall course in good condition. Water around most of the course but not always affecting play. GPS on buggy’s was helpful. Starter was also helpful with his guidance, especially in respect of the 3rd with hidden stream in front of green.
Four of us on vacation from UK and this was fourth course we had played and so far is the best we have played. Very good restaurant in the club house and was very busy on the Saturday we visited at 5.45pm
Ventura
Great track near airport. Challenging layout with many holes requiring carry and course management. Worth the play.
Always a solid choice
Ventura is a steady course that you can count on, Fairways, greens, tee blocks were fine. Rough and sand traps just okay. food/drink are good. Consistent conditions and a reasonable cost makes me play this course year after year.
Good for me as a hybrid
Overall, it is a short course and the back tees are fine for me except the par 3s which I would play from the mid tees because I can't reach par 3s which are over 210 yds.
