Ventura Country Club
About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Golfer Reviews
Ventura
Great course, especially for the money. They are redesigning between May and November. We are bummed, but excited to see the changes!
1st Round of 2022 -- Ventura CC
I hear Ventura will be closed for revamping within the next couple of months, so I was glad to take advantage of GN's Hot Deals on this third day of new year 2022. The course is actually not in bad shape, although I used to shoot mid 70's on this short course, my old weak swing doesn't produce like it once did. I got paired with nice Icelandic couple, and we had fun in the Florida sun. The greens' were OK, the sand bunkers need workup, the par 3s (like 12, 16, 7) are getting longer (remember I'm old & short-hitter), but still a fun short course to play convenient to East-side communities.
Fun Track and Friendly Locals
It was our first time playing at Ventura. Course is in good shape. Not as long as many courses. Plenty of trouble to get into. A shot makers course. Very friendly 19th hole and great food and service. We will definitely be back!!
Seen it in better shape.
Green Valley is a great course to play when it is in good shape. The greens were good, fairways and rough were a bit "rough". Still fun to play though.
OK. Nothing special.
An OK course. Lots of moisture in the fairways even though it hasn't really rained much. Pro shop staff was very friendly but the starter was rude unless you are a regular. Food at the 19 th hole was good but the menu was short. I would probably play again but it wouldn't be my first choice.
Tight fairways.
Can't steal water hazard. Long par 3s. Can't beat the price.great value.
Awesome course
Had an excellent time playing on Wednesday and of course was so good I came back Thursday and played again. I would recommend this course for the value the course layout in the condition of the course. The greens are tough to read they look like there's brakes but there isn't.
always one of my favorites ..
This will always be one of my favorite courses in Orlando. It's fairly short, but don't think it's easy.
I shot one of my lowest here .. a 63 .. only because my woods, irons, and putter were ON .. otherwise you could have a higher number than on a full course. Why? If you play by the rules, there's water and penalties on more holes than not. You have to be accurate, not long. THAT'S where the scoring will come in. Spray it, and you'll have penalties , lost balls, water drops.
Condition is always one of the best ... don't really like the change in the hole numbers .. gps can't keep up as to which hole you're on .. but that's what they wanted.
