About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Nice Condition
Fairways were very nice and greens were good. Pace of play was good. Always enjoy playing at Ventura.
Winter Golf
The condition of the course was just okay for winter golf. The ratings that I read prior to playing the course made it sound like the course was in great shape. I disagree...the course had rough tee boxes, thin and dry fairways and overall not in great shape. I would give this course no more than a 3 out of 5.
Lovely course, challenging in places.
We thoroughly enjoyed playing Ventura, very friendly but the pace was extremely slow.
Some good challenging holes, staff were great and the food in the 19th was very good too.
Would definitely play again.

Going Backwards
Most tee boxes were sand and Fert, The greens had poanna on them brown spots and one par 3 had some kind of tracks on it. We love playing this course and the changes were awesome.

Nice looking course
It was the day after a storm so the course was kind of wet. The greens were tough and the pin placemants too. Pretty setting though.

Decent course
Decent course. Good condition. Not pro level or anything, but not bad for the price.
They need more signs with arrows explaining where some of the holes are. Especially 3 and the one where you hit over the big pond.
