Horrible, not like it once was
I generally don't like to give bad reviews, people's livelihood depend on them. Plus I used to mow on a course so I know the difficulties of golf course maintenance, the cost the labor the weather gasoline, maint on the equipment, all factor in. But the course was truly horrible. Craters, potholes rumble roads, giant strip pits. Just not built in the right terrain. Way too hilly. The cart paths we like driving thru forest. Once a course gets 20 years old, the only thing that can fix it is millions of cash dollars. I played there a few years ago it was much better, but still poor. I played here this week cause it was real cheap on golf now.
Excellent staff
We played this course for its location and the cheapest price at the time. Incredible layout. Bunkers were left to die. It was actually hilarious that the rakes were still in them. The greens were the only saving grace. They actually rolled somewhat true and quick. The pro shop staff was good people. It was really sad to see a course like this with lots of potential go to pieces. Central Florida has too many courses, but not for long. Slowly closing due to bad management. Stop charging outrageous prices and get the people out there any way you can.

Mixed review
I start off by saying I used to play this course regularly when it was the diamonds player club. Back then it was an extremely tough course unbelievable layout, just great golf. It has been 10 or so years since playing this course, I decided it's been way too long and I would play it. As I read some of the the reviews on golfnow , I thought to myself no way can that course be that bad! Wow!! was I surprised!! It really looked like a neglected golf course. If you are a high handicapper that knows no difference of aesthetics of having grass on fairways, sand in bunkers, tee boxes being cut, or not being able distinguished collar of greens and rough, then it is a fantastic place for you!! But If you are a golfer that cares about those things I mentioned above, stay away because the feelings you will have is sadness and anger. Sadness of the potential of how great this course could be, and the anger of how did it get this bad!!

Sanctuary Ridge in bad shape
Course is in bad shape, tee boxes ate up, fairways minimal grass, sand traps have not been serviced in a long time full of weeds, lots of damage on the greens. Will not be back until I see a big improvement.

Lovely Course - Awful Condition
This is one of the greatest courses in Central Florida. Unfortunately, it is in completely horrible condition. I'd like to buy it and turn it back into a gem!
I wish you would buy it, i am gonna be crushed when this courses closes due to its condition....

Not impressed
Fun layout with lots of hills and pretty views. Although the overall condition was a 2 at best. fairways barely had any grass. Greens were ok. Tee boxes on majority of holes were pretty bad. Bunkers unplayable. ...

Not bad for $20. Wouldn't pay more than $25
Tees-Could be better. Could be a lot worse. You're using a tee so just how good do they need to be.
Fairways-you will need to play"preferred lies" in a few spots. They are dry so you will get extra distance.
Greens - Look much worse than they play. Was pleasantly surprised at how 17 of 18 rolled very nice. #4 is a problem. Bunkers are being allowed to grow in. Those that gripe about them obviously need more range time. Play then as waste bunkers. Don't pay more than $25

Rough condition
Great layout and cool elevation changes, Fairways and bunkers are the worst I’ve played in Central Florida. Weeds all over the sand, grassless pits craters everywhere. Hope they can get it together, the course could be cool.
