Awful conditions. Don’t waste your money or time.

They have given up on trying to maintain the course. Bunkers might be as bad as I have ever seen, and there are lots of them. It is a strange layout that is close to unplayable for a high handicapper, which resulted in the pace of play being excruciatingly slow

Played the course several times and I don't get tired of it. Will return.

The course was busy but short of carts. The starter was run off his feet trying to retrieve incoming carts.

We got off at our chosen tee time, bit play was terribly slow - a five hour round.

We love the course and the starter was great. Just wish the slow players would get the lead out.

I have played the mountain courses of New Hampshire and Vermont, this place is almost as scenic. Love the layout.

I actually never finished the course the first time I played due to a flat-tire late in the day. Anywho... Course is what you might expect in Northern NJ or Eastern PA, lots of ups and downs, challenging looks, hidden greens, it does not start this way but before long you are being challenged!!

It has a warm "small course" feel with plenty of hospitality and well-wishes from the staff.

Everyone is friendly, pace is well kept and they have cold-beer for a fair price!

Seriously, great course and hope you don't come so it stays nice!!

But that's about it. Huge letdown! One of the better layouts you will find in the Orlando area. But just about every negative comment you can think of could be made for at least 3 holes on this course. Fairways resembled small explosive test area. Sand traps were caved in. They didn't even bother providing rakes. Somehow greens were both muddy and sandy. #2 had a sandtrap on the green.

Staff was friendly and they have everything you need for practice. It's disappointing to see a course with so much potential be in such disarray.

Sanctuary Ridge is a good course with a good layout. Could do some work around greens. Overall a good value for your money.

Definitely an interesting layout and has a lot of character. However this course has been severely neglected and is in absolutely horrible condition. I would 100% never play here ever again.

As the others have mentioned in their comments, this course it not in very good condition.

Tee boxes, fairways and bunkers all need attention.

The value is there but we will not return any time soon.

Very hard to navigate around the course for the first time, so I suggest buying the course booklet.

Sanctuary Ridge has a beautiful layout and some challenging holes. The course needs some work. The greens needed to be cut and plenty of the tee boxes needed maintenance. Still a good bargain at $28. $35 included lunch which was a good deal and recommended.

This course is easy to play and has an interesting layout , and has uncommon elevation changes with great vistas. Since the topography is difficult to maintain, the conditions are not good. However, we always include Sanctuary Ridge as one of our warm up rounds for our start of our winter vacation. This course is perfect for snowbirds looking to get back into playing golf!

Pretty disappointed. Played this course for years and it is not in good shape. Should have known since the price was inexpensive for this time of year. Greens were patchy and had not been cut. Fairways had many areas with no grass, pot holes, ruts, generally poor areas. The staff is excellent. Hopefully they can bring it back as it’s a great layout.

Course has great possibilities. Very interesting and elevation changes makes course very pretty. However course is not kept in very good condition. Also, greens in poor shape.

The only good thing about this golf course was the elevation changes and views. The golf course itself was in terrible condition. Weeds growing every where in the fairways. Dead grass lining the sand traps. Gas golf carts. The course looks like it wasn't maintained in a long time. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Played this course since 2012 and have seen it various conditions (foot high rough to bald fairways and greens). Right now it is in the nicest shape I've seen in a loooong time! Fairways have grass, you can find your ball in the second cut and if you hit in the high stuff - well then you've hit a horrible shot and deserve to lose your ball. Greens are rolling nicely, as well as any in the area and the tee boxes are acceptable. The bunkers vary from nice to washed out but this course has many different bunker types so waste bunkers shouldn't be compared to greenside bunkers ... I've played twice in the last week, on the day with nice weather the pace of play was NOT good with 8 groups running into each other on holes 12 & 13 but today with cold weather we had the course to ourselves. Overall this is a definite play right now with it being in good shape and it's unique layout.

If you like elevation changes, deep bunkers and a great variety of distances and shot options, you'll enjoy Sanctuary Ridge! In years past, this course was not well maintained - and it's still not quite perfect. But, you're not paying $100 or more to play here, either. Unlike so many boring central Florida courses, almost every shot on every hole will play appreciably uphill or downhill. You'll deal with sidehill, uphill and downhill lies. Your putt will often have a pretty good (though never extreme) break to it. Tee boxes are in very good shape, as are the greens. Fairways have better grass coverage this year than in recent years. The sides of the deeper bunkers could be better manicured, though. Play it, you'll enjoy it. Play it several times and you'll like it even more as you learn where best to....and where best NOT to....hit your shot. Nice practice green, driving range is functional for practicing at all distances, but could be in much better shape.
