Sanctuary Ridge Golf Club

Have played here several times in the past and always enjoy the layout - as much elevation changes as any course I've played in Florida. Sadly the course conditions were poor today - practice green really shabby, tees mostly poor, maybe a third of the greens OK but the rest bumpy and damaged, fairways and roughs in very bad shape throughout - more bare and brown than not. We won't give this one another look for at least 6 months. It needs lots of work.

The play was so slow it was painful , two people and it took 4 hours. The marshall was no where to be found , to even speed up play

Great views from the highest point in the state. I like the layout. It’s just a bit rough right now. A couple of holes are contrived but overall a nice experience.

I had a lot of fun playing the course. It would be wonderful if there put a little more work and water on the course.

Fun and interesting course. Lots of elevation change.

We were 1 hour late starting and it was a 5 hour round!

The course was in good condition the cart paths were good. the course layout was unusual for Florida with many dips and slopes, not much water but quite steep valleys.

The staff are friendly but we did not complete our round because the pace of play was so slow, after four hours we had only completed fourteen holes and had to leave.

Overall a very nice and unusual course.

I Won't return until course has started seeding, watering & repair of tee boxes start

Terrible shape, it use to be in really great shape but now its a goat ranch.

The course had a good layout. There was a lot of elevation changes, but the bunkers were not kept very well, the fairways need a lot of work, and the greens were extremely slow. Not a course I would play again unless they do a lot of maintenance.

Course has not been watered since Noah! And fairways are all domed (convex) so that many drives run off downhill to abysses left and right. The ground is incredibly hard and some balls hit to elevated greens that are a bit short roll BACK 30-40 yards! Worse is the pace of play (much due to the poor conditions), and adding insult to injury is no way to get back to clubhouse at the turn for food or drink! Then when the 5.5 hour round is over the clubhouse has closed at 5 pm!! Ridiculous.

Loved the different layout. Every hole presented a different challenge. Elevation changes dramatic in places. A lot of fun and many different challenges.

Greens slow and. Either there was not any overseeding or it has died.

got lucky and got a hot deal on golf now so price was great but play there at least once every year when we come down from Canada thanks again

Played early 8 AM, greens were not ready for play. extreme worm holes and droppings along with the dew made putting a bit laughable. Front desk was very friendly and at $30 a cheap morning but not sure we will be back for a while.
