Sanctuary Ridge Golf Club

I have played this course in 2016 and 2015, This was the least crowded I have seen it. Nice round of golf.

Courses in good shape first three greens were slow but as I played a got much better

Came here as a four-ball and really enjoyed ourselves. Course was in good condition, and so different to what you normally find in Orlando.

It is built around a housing development, but that is where the similarity ends. Lots of elevation changes, and some real ski slopes on some fairways.

But the course was in good condition, and never really had any tricky lies despite the terrain.

Nice views, good practice facilities and a fun course with varied and interesting holes.

Imagine will be back at some point soon.

Nice design but needs more TLC than had been given at present time!

The course needs watering and work at the end of the cart paths. Very bumping near the cart paths someone should fill the potholes.

Played there last year, and yesterday. Course was in much better shape last year!

We arrived early for our tee time and were greeted by the very friendly and helpful Larry who provided our cart and instructions on how best to play the course. Course was not busy so we were allowed to head off when ready. Course has lots of elevation changes which is a bit different to the standard Orlando links. Especially enjoyed the front nine as some of the views were spectacular. Holes 10 and 15 were a bit strange - took some time to see where the green was on 10 in spite of playing from the middle of the fairway and the line off 15th tee was not obvious. Greens were a bit slower than some though they were running true.

This was only the second time I played this course. I enjoyed the round but I felt the course was run down. Very few racks in the bunkers answer bunkers were in need of some immediately attention. I still think the average golfer would enjoy the course on a perfect Florida day.

I drove over 30 minutes to get there so I was hoping for a nice course and was disappointed. I got there some 30 minutes ahead of time and because no other people had booked my tee-time I had to play the back first and by myself. When I got back to the clubhouse to play the front 9 there was not supposed to be anybody before another half and hour but they let two twosome go ahead of me. It took two holes before the gentlemen in front of me who were very slow let me get if front of them. It did not take too long when I reached the other twosome which did not seem as friendly but after three holes and because one of them was on the phone they let me go through.

As to the course most of the shots are blind and either uphill or downhill so the right club selection is important. Because I did not know the course I hit some very good shots that ended up in trouble because of the layout. If you plan to try this course ask to be match with someone who played it before.

A great layout! A little rough in places but greens were fine. I found out the hard way that GolfNow won't cancel a "hot deals" round. We had a buddy not make it because of wife's medical problem and GolfNow wouldn't cancel. I explained this to the proshop staff and they gave us a raincheck for his round right on the spot! It's been a while since I last played here and thought conditions would be good. Greens were inconsistent and slow. Probably won't be back.

First time played the course in many years and not disappointed. Greens were in great shape and whilst some fairways were a little patchy this did not detract from a most enjoyable round. Played as a single and round in 3 hours which was a bonus. Will certainly play again soon and would recommend the course to anyone wanting a different (hilly) course to play.

have not been here for over six months but still found the course in great condition. Always a challenge but also always a fun course to play.. If you are in the area you have to try it.

A number of people had told me how good it was, and while I found the tees and fairways a little scruffy than I was expecting, the course itself has more than its fair share of really excellent holes. Forget the typical Florida course here, this one has some serious climbs and drops, and the design has used the terrain splendidly.

It does run through housing, but I don't remember any holes where the homes are really in play.

I've played a number of courses around Orlando where you'll enjoy the round, but come away not remembering any of the holes. That won't be the case here.

Suggest that one would do better by going elsewhere.

Course was considerably than the last time I played it 5 or 6 years ago. Greens were slow and the grass on the fairways was very thin.
