Very unique Florida landscape. Good shape considering it is mid Jan.

This course has a very nice layout from start to finish and forces you to play many different shots with all of your clubs. Although the cart paths may be a little rough at spots and the greens somewhat slow this is a must play for the average golfer to sharpen up your game. A fair mix of water and bunkers throughout this course is still very player friendly.

The pluses: Highest point in Orlando area I think so beautiful vistas, hilly, variety of shots required.
Length a problem for me. 5035 forward tees then 5695 and up. 5695 has 485 & 500 par 5's and 390,375 &370 par 4's. Slope rating 108? How about 128?
I will guarantee several traps shots and never a straight putt. P.s. Wear your seat belt!

My wife and I really enjoyed playing this course. It is surprisingly hilly for a course in Central Florida making the views very scenic. The pace was a little slow, about 4.5 hours for the 18 holes. This was the only complaint. There's a lot of variety with the hole layouts, which made it both fun and challenging. We plan to go back.

Course was in good condition. Greens however were slow, and pace of play was excellent. Finished in 3.5 hrs.

Not you typical golf course to be found in Central Florida. As the name implies, there is a Ridge. One of the main features of the course is the elevation changes from one hole to the next. Bunkered fairways and blind shots in to greens are also par for this course. Greens and fairways are in good shape and the staff was helpful and friendly.

We always thought that Florida was flat until we golfedat Sanctuary Ridge. The elevation changes are astounding! It's a very interesting course with each hole feeling unique. It's lots of fun and challenging. We've played several times over the years and have never been disappointed.

I haven't played this course for awhile and a little disappointed. The greens were extremely slow and all the bunkers looked liked they haven't been raked in weeks. I called them on this after play and they said they have had a lot of play but the pace was fine and the groups in front and behind didn't seem to be in many bunkers. I had only hit 3 bunkers in the round but they were in bad shape and all the bunkers around all the greens were like that. There are too many courses in the area that are better taken care of to choose from, it will be awhile before I return.

Good golf course but slow play due to group in front takes away the pleasure of the experience.

Course is always fun to play. Currently over-seeded and with the hit temps this year they are being cautious with the mowing. Greens were smooth but slower than they would normally be this time of year. Some of the waste bunkers need cleaning up but overall in good condition.

Fun course to play. Enjoy the hilly terrain for central Florida. If you want to play course a Florida course that is NOT flat you will enjoy this course!

Great place for a relaxing round. Super friendly staff and a well run course. I really like the elevation changes that are not overly intimidating. My only criticism is that the refreshment cart was practically nonexistent.

Course has a really nice layout. Upkeep of the course could have been better. Erosion from summer rain has taken its toll on bunkers and hilly parts of course. Fairways were in good shape and greens rolled true, although they were a little slow. At the end of the day, the unique hilly layout won out and I had a great time. Played the last 12 holes with locals which made it even more fun. All in all a great place to play for the money!!

if you want challenging this is the course for you,greens were great.

Tee boxes need a little work, fairways challenging if you love elevation changes, greens faster then they look. If you don't mind some construction going on near some holes this course is a lot of fun.

First the good news. Course has an interesting lay out, greens and fairways were not brilliant but ok. For 25dollars a round you can't expect too much.
Now the bad news. Pace of play is appalling! First 9 holes took 2.5 hours, but I could just about cope with that. 5 hours for a holiday round is manageable. However on the back nine, by the time we got to the 10th tee there were 3 groups waiting and 1 on the tee!!! After 3 holes took 75minutes to play we gave up and drove in. At this rate we were facing a 6 hour round.
Only played 12 holes, so not such a great deal after all!
Clearly this course is in desperate need of a marshal.
If you are foolish enough to play this course, I would recommend that you take a good book to read while you wait between shots.

Great course, receptive greems. More elevation change Than any course I have played in Florida . Great greens, acceptable speeds and rolled pretty true.

A lot of fun especially for the money. A bit of a drive but well worth it.

The hills and views are relly nice and the layuot is fun
