Hard Pan
Hard pan lies everywhere. Greens were ok, but a little weedy. Rolled pretty true. No rough to speak of and most lies were on dirt. Needs a reseeding, aerating and a weeding of the bunkers. It’s a great layout and the hilliest course in Central Florida, so improving the place would make it amazing

Course almost unplayable.
The first fairway wasn't a fairway. It looked like the after effects of a mudslide. The greens were disastrous. One of the worst conditioned courses I've played. Would not recommend.

Terrible Course Conditions
The condition of this course was a joke.. More dirt on the fairways than grass, no bunker maintenance at all. Greens were basically spray panted circles over dead grass.

The course is great when it is cared for. The fairways were in terrible shape and greens only modestly better. Bunkers horrible. A waste of a good and challenging layout.

Played this course 6 years ago an thought I would play it again because I enjoyed the hills an layout. I was totally shock bye the condition of this course. You would be lucky to find grass in the fairways... would not recommend playing this course.

No grass anywhere.
Terrible conditions and can’t understand why anyone would want to play here. No grass on any of the fairways, the greens have no grass with only occasional weedy areas where the ball jumps all around when you try to putt, and the sand traps have foliage growing in the bunkers and no rakes or any maintenance in the greenside traps. Not worth any amount of money to play here.

Course conditions
This course has great character, but not very well maintained. This is the golfing season and the course is not in very good condition, actually it is very bad condition. I have told my golfing buddies that it would be a great course if only it was maintained better. Not in playing conditions, bunkers horrible fairways on some holds just sand. Need much attention. Golf course has great character and features.

The Ridge is great Layout in Central Fla
This is such a fun hilly layout, very uncommon to Central Fla .......but I won't lie to you, it's not what it once was. The conditions are poor: no grass in many fairways & spotchy greens; the sand traps haven't been worked in years ........and a lot of money is necessary to get back to what the layout deserves. Please, some (rich) guy/group buy this property & preserve the golf course. The layout is spectacular, the views are spectacular, just need an abundance of grass on fairways & smooth greens. It is worth playing, just because The Ridge is relatively inexpensive & not crowded (at least on this Monday afternoon). The staff is really cool, and clubhouse is anxious to serve a cold one or sandwich after the round. Thanx again to GolfNow for the Hot Deals & Sanctuary Ridge for supporting GN bookings.

Fairways were a disaster
The fairways were nothing but dirt, no grass to be found. The greens were bumpy and diseased. The carts were old, dirty and noisy.

Disappointed
The starter and clubhouse people were very nice. The course is fun because I don’t get to play anything this hilly where I’m from. The conditions of the course leave a lot to be desired. The fairways are kind of bare. I don’t know what happened but you have to roll the ball to find grass to hit off of.

I live locally to this course . I haven't played it in over a year, was surprised at how bad the conditions were. No grass practically in most of the fairways. Its a shame because this is one of the most unique tracks in all of Florida. It used to be in good condition but maybe the pandemic has hurt them financially to keep it up, don't know. Hope they can bring it back fun challenge to play.

The course is a good place to play if you like a bit of a challenge. We can't wait until the weather gets back and the fairways come back.

I will never play there again
There was no grass anywhere! You were hitting off of dirt on every hole. Just terrible!!!

Horrible condition!
I would rate it a goat ranch, but it is going to have to improve a bunch to call it a goat ranch! It is a $10 golf course!
