The Oak Bridge Club (formerly known as Ponte Vedra Golf & Country Club at Sawgrass) in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., sits adjacent to the famed Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The 6,413-yard, par-70 Arnold Palmer design features water on every hole, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. Oak Bridge favors accuracy and strategy over power and distance. New owners have upgraded the clubhouse and introduced a new restaurant, The 3 Palms Grille. A tennis center is home to 10 Har-Tru clay courts.

Everything in à pour condition
Course is in a bad condition.
Pur first buggy wasn't cleaned for long time.
A flight of FIVE golfers was in front of us.
Very poor condition
Worst condition GC ever played on Golf Now . They should be embarrassed . It was that bad . I have played all over NE FL . this is by far the worst . For being inside the property of the Players this is a joke . Never spend the $$ or my time again . On a positive note paired up with two very nice players who were members . Did not mention my thoughts on GC .As that would have been rude . Call first see if conditions have improved .
better than reviews!
Almost didn't play because of some past reviews. Our course was closed for college tournament, so we tried it for $25. It did look a little brown but the fairways held the ball up nicely and greens were pretty smooth. My wife liked the advantage from the red ties.
Needs an Update
This was once a beautiful course. I live in Sawgrass and if the course were in better condition I would play there often. Beautiful views, lots of sand traps and moguls. But a fun day. I understand it is being sold, I hope the new owners bring it back to its glory days.
the golf course was soggy
we had a great time, the weather was beautiful the course was soggy I guess they watered to much and the greens was fair.
Great layout, poorly maintained
I'm not sure what I expected for $18, but I figured it couldn't be all bad if it's in the Sawgrass Village. It was. Most greens had barely any grass left and were eaten up with poa annua. This looks like it used to be a very nice course; I have no idea what happened to it.
Great value
Great course, some spots could use some work but overall would play again and again for the 26 some dollars.
Needs Help!
My only positive experience was the nice greeting from the outside staff that meet me at my car with a golf cart.
When checking in I was greeted by a dull morning hello. When asked about range balls, a large bucket was 6.00 and only contained 40 range balls. After my warm-up routine, I looked around for a starter or outside staff and could not find a sole.
There were other singles and twosomes going off so I just blended in and hope that I was not out of turn. When I got to the 10th tee. I had a 5some before me and it took me 3 holes before I got through. Overall, grounds were bad, wet, weedy and it was like a ghost town for staff. Someone desperately needs to step in and help this course or it is going to dry-up and die. It has the potential to be a very nice golf course.
TLC needed, but a good course for the money
Friendly staff. Not many people there for a Sunday. Greens need help, but are playable. Fairways are good. Tee boxes are OK. Good place for a quick round and for the money.
Only if everything else is booked
It is a goat track and I would only play this course again if nothing else was availble and I really wanted to play that day. Poo all over the greens, the sand trap and mud traps, and fairways bare.
Didn't expect this!
While visiting my sister who lives in Ponte Vedra Beach, I made an online tee time for 2 @ 1PM. Upon arrival we noticed quite a few groups waiting on 1st tee. When we dropped our bags the nice young man explained that he was waiting for carts to come in. We had 30 min. until our tee time so that wasn't unusual. As we waited and our tee time approached we realized that there were still no carts and 3 - 4 groups still waiting for their carts. As conversation went on people realized that there were groups that had the same tee times, booked online. I was very disappointed in my experience at this course. We requested and received a refund for the golf but not the online reservation. Not sure if this is/was a course problem or overbooking. Would have liked to play but didn't have time for a 5+ hour round of golf. I surely didn't expect this!
Really!?!?
For being on the same property as the TPC Sawgrass, it is beyond disappointing how poorly this course is maintained. Greens are awful!!! There isn't a single putt over five feet anywhere on the course that isn't inhibited by bare spots or sand or holes on the greens. The layout is challenging and if this course were kept up it could be a fun place to play. But frustration over the course condition is all my foursome talked about during our long wait times on each tee, with one guy even apologizing for suggesting it for our weekly outing. We won't be giving them any more of our money.
This course needs some TLC.
The track is very good and with all the water it has the makings of a really nice course.
The greens need to be completely replaced. Most of them were very bare and bumpy.
Fairways are fair for February but they really need work to be ready for summer play and in good shape.
I really liked the layout and with some serious maintenance this could be a great course.
Good layout
The course was a great layout wit water on most holes that came into play. The greens had a lot of bare areas that had been sanded. Overall the course was enjoyable, and worth the price I paid.
It was good for January
It was good ,most likely better in spring summer time
A challenging course you need to know the course to play it well
This course was very poor
Greens were in horrible shape with what looked like weeds growing in them, no cook in the club house so we ate what seemed like 3 day old hotdogs with stale buns to avoid eating the deli sandwiches that the bartender didn't even know how old they were. Definitely no bag for the buck even at their discounted rate.
Surprise
Very surprised how well laid out. If maintained better would be an awesome course. Just need some TLC.
Wonderful water fowl. Enjoyed the quick pace.
Horrendous
For being off of PGA Tour Blvd and being by TPC Sawgrass and calling themselves a country club, this was quite possibly the worst kept course I hve ever played. Public courses look like Augusta compared to this place.
I wouldn't golf this course again if it cost a dollar to play. If you do decide to play it, good luck finding a piece of grass to hit off off or a green that isn't dirt and sand.
Greens are awful
Most of the greens are dead. Fairway grass is spotty at best, mostly weeds
