Editor's Note: Course closed and reopen as The Yards.
The Oak Bridge Club (formerly known as Ponte Vedra Golf & Country Club at Sawgrass) in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., sits adjacent to the famed Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The 6,413-yard, par-70 Arnold Palmer design features water on every hole, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. Oak Bridge favors accuracy and strategy over power and distance. New owners have upgraded the clubhouse and introduced a new restaurant, The 3 Palms Grille. A tennis center is home to 10 Har-Tru clay courts.

Decent Course
The course is dcent and the greens are starting to come back in. Overall, relly enjoyed playing. Keep up the good work on the greens.
The staff is great!!
The course greens wore the worst I have played on. Need lots of work!!!
Great Value
Course is narrow and a lot of water. Each hole was different.
Facilities average and carts not well equipped not even a towel.
A couple of Greens were a little rough how ever the rest of the course was great.
Very cheap to play so well worth it.
This course was in horrible shape
This course has almost lost the greens on the property. There was only two greens that looked even close to being playable. The course needs a lot of work maybe even shut down for a few months to get the work in on the greens to get them back to playable. The fairways were in decent shape need to be thatched but at least playable. The layout of the course is not bad but overall the course needs quite a bit of work
Transistion
Course is in transistion and therefore anything over $25 is overpriced. The cart girl was phenomenal, very nice and helped me find a wayward drive. Staff are all very pleasent and helpful. I hope the ownership see the true jewell they have at the front door of the PGA tours signature course and upgrade the facility.
Pints Vedra
This is a great layout, the greens got blow out and are now getting better. The greens still have a ways to go. Great value $30 for an early weekend tee time.
Trouble on the greens
I have always liked this course and layout. A tough par 70 but the greens are in horrible shape. Unless you can get a very favorable rate you will be very disappointed in the greenside experience. Hopefully they will succeed in bringing them back as you can see lots of repairs. Some don't look like they will hold up. Great course with some major issues right now.
Bad shape
The greens are terrible. 10th green was a part of the fairway they mowed down to look like a green. Will never play here again.
Worth the golf now price
The course overall was in way better shape then last time I played. Only one hole 10 had a green problem. The other greens overall were in good shape, a couple of dirt patches but not to bad. The one really bad part were the sand traps were all hard.
Poor condition
The greens were in very poor condition. Made putting on all 18 holes a challenge Front nine pace 1:45 but on the back There were several groups backed up on the back nine at the tee box.
Enjoyed the course
I enjoyed playing this course. The only problem area is the greens. Everything else was fine but the greens were very difficult to play due to dead bare areas and patches that weren't taking too well. It's a great place to practice if you're not overly concerned with putting.
Formerly known as Oak Bridge now PV Golf and Country Club
Ive played this course probly over 150 times throughout my life, dating back to my very first round of golf at a 18 hole course as a 5 year old. Its very sad to see the conditions of the current course. Redesigned by Arnold Palmer, now in ruins. The greens are awful, the kind of conditions my coach would have instated a 2 putt rule for scoring purposes. Dont waste your time or money out here, cause they dont care.
Not worth the $20 green fees!
Put on your do not play list. Great layout ruined by horrible greens and conditions. Played this course over a year ago and would not have said this, but they have really let it go!
Poor course conditions
The course conditions are very bad. You could tell this was a beautiful course at one time. It's a shame it has not been kept up.
Greens in need of TLC
I played this course many times and this the worst I seen the greens. They may have had a bad winter but greens in need of some TLC. Other than greens course is good layout and fu. To play. Price was pretty good for a weekend play but the greens played a part in pricing. I know they will get greens back and the course will be back to its 4star play
Disappointing at Best
I played this course a while back and at that time the greens and other areas were in rough shape. I decided to give it another chance so I called the pro shop and asked about conditions. I was told the course was in good shape with the greens having been "renovated" several months earlier and all were in good condition except #10. After booking, arriving and teeing off to play it was obvious very quickly that the rumors of "good" shape were grossly exaggerated. The course has very poor drainage, the greens were a mixture of bald spots and pieces of sod mown down to brownness and any sand trap you hit into was like playing from a cart path as they were not raked and were hard as concrete. Overall the staff were nice enough but the course is in very poor condition. Also noticeably, there are NO water coolers placed around the course so you have to depend on the cart to come around if you need a drink. This was the second and last chance for this course, Thumbs down rating from me and my playing companions. With at the name Ponte Vedra attached to it, you would expect much better.
Not quite what I expected.
Overall not a bad course. But the green are pretty rough and need a lot of work. The light in the course restroom need to be replaced. It seems for a Sawgrass course it should be kept a little better.
