The Oak Bridge Club (formerly known as Ponte Vedra Golf & Country Club at Sawgrass) in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., sits adjacent to the famed Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The 6,413-yard, par-70 Arnold Palmer design features water on every hole, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. Oak Bridge favors accuracy and strategy over power and distance. New owners have upgraded the clubhouse and introduced a new restaurant, The 3 Palms Grille. A tennis center is home to 10 Har-Tru clay courts.

beautiful!
Enjoyed it very much! Challengin layout! Loved the Live Oaks!
Value.
Lots of water, and tight fairways. Friendly staff. Very fast play 3:15.
Could have been awesome
Fantastic layout
Sad course condition
Could not believe how little is spent on course maintenance
Pros hop also shows lack of investment
played long
I like the course, have played it a number of times. This time it was extremely damp from the rains 2 nights prior therefore very little role making it play a bit longer. Greens were in pretty good shape, will play it again!
Poor Quality
This course sadly has seen better days, it will need a major makeover to bring this course back from the dead.
Tee grounds and greens were in rough shape.
Savings grace was that some of the staff were friendly enough.
Being next to TPC Sawgrass it is s shame to see this course going from a gentleman to a hobo. It is a reflection of golf at this time in Florida with some facilities making margin and others near proverbial collapse!
Not terrible condition
Greens were not in the best condition but not bad value for the money
Could be a gem with a little tender loving care
Course from tee to fairway in good shape but only a few greens could be considered in fine condition.
They need to work on seeding the greens to get rid of the crab grass,.
worse course in TPC area
Payed 20.00 on vacation to warm up for TPC dyes course green s were burnt up got behind a 5 some told course at turn they did nothing played there in april2014 thought it wud b better not much..what a waste of golf property sorry thumbs way down
Fuelled Brothers Golf Outing
I played this course every year for the past 5 years and it has been declining each year. The greens are in terrible condition. However, the staff was very friendly.
Good Course for the Price
First time playing course and I have a 9 handicap and I have played more than 400 different courses around the world. Course has a good layout and required a golfer to use all his/her sticks. There were a couple of greens that needed work but for the average golfer it was a good track. The price for the round was very good and I will play there again soon.
Thanksgiving Foursome
Had a decent day at PVG&CC as it was supposed to be one of the busiest golf days of the year. We were fortunate to have no one in front of us for the majority of play and the weather was fine for a end of November day.
You Get What you Pay for
Cool Place that keeps going down in the last year. No more pro the Clubhouse has a foul smell to it..no cart girl because the bartender didnt show up.. so no food in the kitchen..She didnt know how to make hot dogs..if you go bring your own food and drink
Horrible Operation
The worst operation I have ever played golf at. People who work there are rude, and could care less about golfers. The course is a goat farm. Poorly maintained, almost nothing good to say about this place. As poor as it is, they treat you like you are doing them a favor by playing there. Only good thing, $16 for 18 holes.
Awful
This course is in such a nice location but it really is a dump. Would be nice if someone would do them up like all the other courses in the area. I wouldn't mind paying a little more to play something that is actually worth playing.
Not going back here unless they do some work to it.
For the price it's ok.
Showed up and was greeted by an energetic 20 something year old guy who loaded our bags with a great attitude. Awesome for an $15 dollar round. But that's where it went downhill. Starter and the shop girl were as bland and rude as it gets. Course is a little rough but hey it was $15. Very challenging, relied heavily on my 5 iron and up which paid off. Would play again eventually. Would play again tomorrow if they replaced the starter and the shop girl.
It's an enjoyable course to play
We play here once per year when we are in town. The course is good-not-great; remember it is the lesser of the Sawgrass courses - you want top-notch facilities (and greens fees), go play the Valley or Stadium courses. Torrential rains the night before and the course drained surprisingly well - only a few squishy spots and water in most of the bunkers.Staff is friendly and attentive and the pace of play was fine. This is a good value and a fun course to play. I'll come back next year and have another enjoyable day out here.
beautiful layout but fair condition
Name of course deceiving. It is called Oakridge C.C. not Ponte Vedra Golf & C.C.
Ponte Vedra Golf Course atr Sawgrass
Love the course design and layout. The course mainenance has improved over the last few months. All the staff were great! Beverage cart was available and came around at least 4 times during our round (maybe because the pace of play was so slow). Overall, nice day and I will return again.
Management Issues
They were running over 30 minutes behind on tee times because they ran out of golf carts. I paid for a cart and 18 holes but ended up walking 9 holes with a twosome in a cart. I never held them up as the course was packed and we had to wait on every shot.
There was very poor communication with the staff - they didn't tell me the situation when I was checking in and paying, and when I went to the starter on the first hole there were at least 4 groups waiting to tee off 5 minutes before my assigned tee time.
The practice greens were spotty but at least twice as fast as the greens on the course - not a good warm up. The weather was perfect but after finishing 9 holes almost 3 hours after my assigned tee time, I didn't have time to play the back 9.
So I paid for 18 holes and a cart and played 9 holes walking. Not going back.
