Greens in really bad shape. Fairways good. Pace of play good. Ranger helped to speed up our round. Greens just were not anything you could putt on. Very dissapointed. will not go back for two months.

This course has one of the best layouts in the area. But the condition of the greens is deplorable. The management has turn a great course into a bad muny course.

This used to be a GREAT place to play now. No More

What remodel? They def need some help out there, the greens are not even worth putting on, if you want to go out and work on your iron game here you go, just not what I expected, I spoke with a ex member and he told me there were no members left at club. In reality go play somewhere else and save your money!

Greens still need some work but they are getting better. The new greens keeper needs to keep pushing them the right direction and I'm glad to see this course replace the old green keeper as he ruined those greens over the winter.

Good course, and the greens are in much improved condition...still a few in tough shape, but overall much better than earlier this year. Fun course to play!

The course was in good shape with one HUGE exception. Well over half the greens looked like a patchwork quilt! Then there was the issue of goose droppings seemingly everywhere. Glad I didn't pay even half price to play!

Do not book at this course at all course on terrible condition and customer service was very bad didn't even get dressing on salad even after we ask and bar tender has attitude.

The layout was great however greens were in poor condition. The staff was great and I know they are working to improve the condition of the greens so I am confident it will continue to improve. Overall though it was an enjoyable day... the rest of the course is in very good shape and the staff is excellent!

Old course but has the potential of being much better. Just like many courses today people don't appreciate the game. Some player damage to the course. The greens were at times unplayable.

The greens are in very bad shape. This should be noted in the golfnow listing. Had I known this I would have booked at a different course

Only played 2 holes before rain ended the round. The Club provided an 18 rain check (very nice).
The fairways were in reasonable condition. The greens were not in reasonable condition, in fact #2 was in pretty bad shape.
Will use the rain check in several months when greens have had a chance to improve.

the condition of the greens were poor but most disipointing part was the ducks/geese that left their poo everywhere to the point you have to watch where you walked. Disgusting .

One word...terrible. Tee boxes were horrific. All the greens except for maybe one were the worst I've seen. They should be charging $10 a round but I'm not sure that is even worth it. Heard that this course is going through bankruptcy which is such a shame as it's in a pristine location with such potential. Spend your $$ elsewhere to get a much more enjoyable experience.

Worst greens I've ever played. Number 10 was closed for repairs. Not sure what their criteria are as the other 17 were awful too. Wont be back.

The t boxes were dirt....The greens were nonexustant......rough was worn out or not taken care of.
I should of been told the condition PRIOR to paying. I would not recommend this course to anyone. Hackers galore with NO marshaling of the course.

This may be the worst maintained course that we have played in Florida. It was truly awful; anyone who rates the course good or better is not being honest with you. First the good stuff: the check in was quick and friendly, with a nice lady behind the counter; the ranger was friendly and informative; the pace of play was pretty good, because there were not many on the course; the weather was beautiful. This is a beautiful tract of land that could be a gem of a course in an area filled with great courses. That pretty much is the end of the good stuff. The greens were worse than horrible... the patchwork fixes on the greens were a joke and most had large patches of no grass. They really were no fun. I know this was a bad winter in the area, but these greens had no business being this bad. The tee boxes were a joke... we struggled to find areas to tee off from... some tee boxes were one big divot. The fairways were the best attribute of the course and they were awful. The course bathroom doors were propped open with trash cans because the lights were out. Even at a discount rate, this course is not worth the price. They clearly have stopped putting money into this course. They certainly don't care about it... so, why should you? Don't waste your money, there are too many other places in the area to actually enjoy a round of golf.

Man, I'm goin to tall ya'll, this was probably one of the best experiences playing that we've (my wife# and I have had in a looonnnggg time! Even tho we got there a little late the staff were super friendly and so speedy to get us checked in. The young lady in the pro shop was a bubbly nice and wonderful person. The starter was really cool too! The weather was absolutely gorgeous with the nicest sea breezes imaginable to keep us cooler than normal this time of year. Only thing was they just punched the greens and also quite a bit of dead areas. They told us they just seeded and I'm sure they'll look great in a few weeks. Didn't shoot my age, 52, but did post a 12 over round which for this course is pretty good! Loved every minute of play and will definitely be going back!! The greens are terrible. The deal is good but they should let us know that the greens are in good shape.

The greens are not even worth a FREE round ther. Go ANYWHERE else to play. This course needs total green replacement. I wish I would have paid $5 more and went to another course in Jacksonville.

I will never go back to Ponte Vedra Golf course AGAIN.
