The Oak Bridge Club (formerly known as Ponte Vedra Golf & Country Club at Sawgrass) in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., sits adjacent to the famed Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The 6,413-yard, par-70 Arnold Palmer design features water on every hole, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. Oak Bridge favors accuracy and strategy over power and distance. New owners have upgraded the clubhouse and introduced a new restaurant, The 3 Palms Grille. A tennis center is home to 10 Har-Tru clay courts.

Worst Greens ever
Probably the worst greens I have ever seen and I have played some really bad courses.
Very scabbed over.
needs work
The overall the course is good to play, there are some challenging holes and some.long par 4's.
bunker placements and water hazards make it a tough course too however, the tee boxes are in poor shape and the greens are even worse. Repair and contiuoes maintenance is a must!!
Sunday Golf
The greens need a lot of work, but I think they will be fine in a couple of weeks, Everything else was great.
Terrible Greens
Greens look like a puzzle with missing pieces. Wouldn't recommend it for the money.
Despite deceptive name change...
Name may have out-of-town people thinking it's the PonteVedra Club courses... Greeens are improving but still ahve a long way to go. Would help if they placed the holes where the grass is better!!
Very pretty course and good deal at the right price.
This course is next to the TPC players championship course.
The winter weather has not been kind to a lot of golf courses this year. The greens were in rough shape but they are working on them. Sand traps were composed of very hard sand. But we enjoyed ourselves. We had a blast with the retired Navy course ranger.
Terrible
Course used to be in great shape but they let it go to ruins! Pace of play was ok but that was due to no one else being dumb enough to play there. Staff was nice. Food and beverage I gave a 2 because they have no water jugs so they can force you to buy drinks. Do not recommend!
Greens = automatic 2 putt
They've lost just about every green and had to replace several of them with new turf that you couldn't even really put through. I enjoy this course due to the nice layout but they've always struggled to get their greens in order. All in all $30 for a Saturday morning doesn't warrant any complaining.
Bad shape
I have played this course many times over the past 20 years. This is the worst condition I have ever seen it. Not only the course but in general it looks dilapidated. Plenty of deferred maintenance here. Not a good value at $25. Greens and tees need major work. Pretty depressing. Will be a long time before I visit this course again. Randall B.
Skip it
played 5/22/14 - called ahead about posting on web site talking about construction - was told the greens are all now fixed. To my surprise - the greens were the worst part of this course - the worst I have ever played on. Cheap course so hard to complain (get what you pay for). Me and my guest were astonished at how bad the greens were - almost laughable - various textures to each green.
Not expensive.
The greens are in poor condition making putting a joke. The fairways are OK. However the course is a good value for someone just starting out and/or trying to improve their drives and iron shots.
Enjoyed the round!
Great course for the value. On the TPC grounds. Very little water for a FL course. The fairways are in good shape. The greens are growing in nicely after installation of new grass, so just have to be a little patient. Will definitely return!
Course in horrible condition.
For a country club, this course was in horrible condition. The greens were awful, and the rest of the course just looked like it wasn't being taken care of.
A couple of volunteer workers jumped in front of us on the second hole and slowed us down the entire day. It got so frustrating that we left after playing nine holes. Won't ever go back.
very poor condition of course.
The tee boxes and greens were the worst. No way to putt on these greens. They were pitted, filled in with sand, splotchy grass spots, patchwork green areas. The course superintendent must have been asleep for a long time to let a nice course to get in such bad condition.
WOULDN'T PAY $1 TO PLAY HERE!!
Greens are in HORRIBLE condition! doesn't matter if your having the best ball stricking day of your life because once you're on the "green" there is no hope. The patches are as soft as sponges while the rest of the green is super hard. The greens go from uncut to bare every other hole and there is not consistancy. DON'T WASTE YOUR $ ON THIS COURSE! Just because it is located in Sawgrass has NOTHING to do with quality. It's a shame.
Very Disappointed
We had not played this course in a probably 6 months. Since The Players Championship had just played there a couple of weeks ago, we thought that we would play it again. We like the track, but I was very disappointed in the green conditions. All but one of the greens were not worth even trying to putt. My partner and I gave two-putt maximums all the way around. Most of the greens were 50% brown and pitted and patched. The rest were at least 25% brown or more. Then the placed the pins in the brown areas and not on the areas where there was a little bit of grass. If I did not know better, I would think that this place was closing. I was really surprised considering that The Players Championship was playing right next door. How embarrassing. If I had thought about it, I wish I would have taken pictures to show. Then you would understand this rating.
Not Worth You Time
I played this course on 5/18/14 because it was the cheapest and closest to my house. I've played this course many times in the past and this is the worst condition I've seen it in. The greens are horrible; they've tried to patch them but every green is in rough shape. The tee boxes look and play like a little league baseball infield. The fairways and rough are in decent shape but overall not worth the time or money. Even items like ball cleaners (completely dry on 5 of the holes I tried) and bunkers (many don't have rakes) are not maintained.
Horrible Conditions
I should have listen to some of the reviews I read, but now I know firsthand - this course should be closed and repair the greens. ALL of the greens on this course are in desperate need. We had to play "hit the green and pick up" - no way you could make a putt. NO sand in the traps - no excuse for the horrible conditions of this course.
its not their fault but.................
each green was severely damaged and patched with new grass. goose droppings everywhere, weeds, no sand in some of the bunkers. I understand they lost the greens but this course shouldnt be open for play IMO. The staff was a giggly laugh at the pro desk, then out of carts, no one to greet me at the club drop. the cart guy had no answers then decided to give me his cart, not a very pleasant encounter. They are btwn rock and a hard place, if they cut the price no one will play because they will want to know why the price is cut then when they learn the greens are shot they wont pay to play. they should close it and get the greens back to playable condition and then cut the weeks and get rid of the geese droppings and goose colony............very disappointing, it felt like a tourist trap!

Yes, it is their fault. They have let this course go to heck (can't use the other word here). It is the worst course that I have played in Florida. Everyone who plays here should demand their money back, Golf Now should drop them from the list or at least put a warning up about this course. I should have read the warnings posted here; unfortunately, I didn't. Play here at your own risk. They must be getting ready to sell the property to build houses on. Truly awful.
