North at Los Serranos Golf & Country Club
About
Los Serranos Country Club boasts two championship golf courses, the North and South. The courses sprawl across 300 acres that are a part of the Don Lugo Spanish Land Grant. Both courses offer a different round from one another, allowing players of all skill levels to find something to their liking at Los Serranos. Los Serranos' North golf course is the shorter of the two measuring in at just under 6,700 yards but every course in southern California can make that claim since the South Course boasts the Jack's Black tees, which make it the area's longest course. The North Course was designed with all skill levels in mind. It is more player-friendly than the South but there are still challenges in store thanks to strategically placed Scottish-style bunkers and tight fairways bordered by rough.

North and South are night and day
We played on Thanksgiving weekend so i expected it to be slow but 5 hours for 2 golfers is pretty ridiculous. The Marshall did a horrible job keeping pace, not really sure what he did now that I think about it. They have a North and South course there. We played the North course but felt cheated when we got there because the South course was in such better condition. Also there was only a small snack shop on the 10th which I wish I would have known because the clubhouse is very nice and I could have got something to go instead. I doubt I'll be back anytime soon.
Pace of play horrible
On the day I played, it was cart path only due to the rain a couple days earlier. There were also 2-5 sums in front of us and a 5 sum behind us. And signs posted about 4 hour pace of play. I wonder if anyone running Los Serranos sees a problem with this? We waited on every hole and it took us just over 5 hours to complete the north course. Shame being the course was in as good a shape as I can remember it.
a
The corses have been around forever and within the last year seems to be much better. The greens are in the best shape I have seen and rolling nicely. The bunkers are finally getting filled in with new sand. the tee boxes are nicely re-done
Great course
This is one of my favourite courses, the greens are in great condition, fast and true.
Challenging but fair
I like the course because it is challenging but fair. You don't need a sleeve of balls to finish the round.
took over 5 1/2 hours to finish the round
yes tournaments mess things up but that is the magic of experienced starters and organizers to make sure the rounds stay within 15 mins variance.
Great deal.
It worked out perfect for us. Green fees listed on golf now were pretty low $25.00 to ride and I was a little worried. I call and talk to starter because this is about the time everybody punches their greens. He told us it had been two weeks already and by our tee time it would be 3rd week, and they were already in pretty good shape. Well we hit the Jack Pot. Course was in really good shape and weather was perfect. Played there once before about a year ago. Course is not real close to us about a 45 min drive but it's a great course to play.

Warning : playing from the blackjack tees is hazardous to your mind, spirit and your back. They are not Nice. Everything But Nice
very nice and interesting
Very nice course. Variety of fairways making it interesting.
Slow greens and hard pan traps
We took advantage of special aeration rate, and played north course. We are surprised by the speedy recovery of the greens from last week's maintenance. They are still on the slow side, but very playable. We decide to go back and check it out again next week. I went into sand traps twice, one at the par 5 #14. The trap was all hard baked mud. Damaged my SW, and produced a triple B for me... I hope they can put sands in some of the dry out bunkers...
A great place
Very good golf corse the staff was friendly great value for the money
this course has beautful features
I played the south course . The front 9 is easy it don't have as many bunker as the back nine. But you still have to watch out for the trees. The green are nice and smooth
Los serranos (north)
Easy layout course. A couple holes with water but not always in play. Bring bug spray because I was getting attacked all day. Greens were in great shape. Nice and spoungy.
Great 4th of July Outing
Played the north course for only $26, cart included. Pace of play was awesome- no one was on the course- until I caught the 3-some in front of me at the 7th hole. Still finihed in just over 3.5 hours. Greens in really nice shape, put true & a bit fast, tee boxes are in good shape, fairways starting to get just a little summe sparse, but had great lies. Staff was extremely accomodating, on-course rest rooms very clean. The only thing I didn't care for was the quality of the sand, but others would probably like it (somewhat hard packed). Nice view of the mountains from many of the holes- just a great outing!
Good scores out there
Shot an 82 with a handful of strokes left out there, pins in touch locations and greens do a bit more than what you think they do. Breezy in the afternoon, but shape your shots and you will be fine. Course looks great and the greens are in very nice condition.
Great
The pace of play was great we started at 430 and finished at 740. It was a great afternoon to play.
6 hours behind a 5-some
I've played this course one other time and found it to fun and playable if not a little bunker heavy. Gentleman behind the counter was short and seemed a bit put off by how busy they were. Course was in good shape and the starter was friendly. Pace of play however is a joke. We were sent out behind a 5-some with a 2-some in front of them. Saw the marshal once and all he had to say was "gonna be a long one". It's hard enough to get a furlough to play these days but a 6 hour round plus drive time kept me out of the house for 8 hours. The Mrs' didn't dig that at all. ~shrug~ Like the course, Won't likely be back unless it's an early morning and a hot hot deal.
Best course in Inland Empire
It was my first time to play in Los Serranos golf course and pretty sure this is the best course in Inland Empire..
Course conditions were excellent with beautiful surroundings.
Always fun
This course has some of everything if you don't like boring
First time playing
I had a great time playing this course for the first time, it somewhat chanenging and the price was fair for this location.
