North at Los Serranos Golf & Country Club
About
Los Serranos Country Club boasts two championship golf courses, the North and South. The courses sprawl across 300 acres that are a part of the Don Lugo Spanish Land Grant. Both courses offer a different round from one another, allowing players of all skill levels to find something to their liking at Los Serranos. Los Serranos' North golf course is the shorter of the two measuring in at just under 6,700 yards but every course in southern California can make that claim since the South Course boasts the Jack's Black tees, which make it the area's longest course. The North Course was designed with all skill levels in mind. It is more player-friendly than the South but there are still challenges in store thanks to strategically placed Scottish-style bunkers and tight fairways bordered by rough.

wide open/ very generous
start time was delayed because of frost so it kind of jammed things up a bit, but once we got going it played fairly quick. course was in good condition fairways are generous so there is always room to recover. a few elevated tee boxes provide nice views with all the snow on the mountains it looks good up there. greens a little tough but not bad
Great Course. North and South here are excellent.
Greens were in good shape. I play here about once a month and it is always in pretty good condition. The course ran pretty slow this last time but it is usually good for a 4 to 4 1/2 hour round. The south course from the Blacks is very challenging with some extremely long holes. The bunkers on some of the holes are small but brutal to get out of if you are unlucky enough to hit them.
The worse course i have placed
I just play 2 holes due to the raining but there was not rain check and the attitude of staff was very bad.
ok but pace of play needs more attention from marshalls
Sliders not working right now. Only the pace of play responded but that's the only one I really needed for this comment. Too many players opt to play from the "Black" tees at not only this course but many others. IMO the marshalls should watch any group, especially 5somes for the first two drives from the blacks. An experienced marshall will be able to assess at that point whether or not the group has the skill needed to play from the blacks (lonegst tee). If in the marshalls observation they should not play from the long tees the marshall gives them the option on moving up to the blues or whites or leaving the course. I've lost count of the times we are sitting at the first tee and watch the golfs "studs" ahead of us tee off from the long tees and snap hook, shank, toe, pop-up, whiff or hit it 175 yards! And they keep playing from the long tees without giving it a thought. Oh by the way I play from the whites at most courses. Thank you
Nice course with beautiflul scenery.
The course was well maintained with a challenging layout. The greens were very soft on approach which make sticking those finesse shots a breeze. The green speeds were consistent for all 18 holes.
My only complaint was the pace of play. We teed off at 11:20 and finished our round just after 5:00. This made it very difficult to stay in a groove.
A joke
This is a poorly run facility. The objective is to fit as many players on the course as possible regardless of the enjoyment of those playing. 3 hours for the first 9 is pathetic. They don't tell you before you pay that they allow 5somes all day. Never again will I tee it up at this place
Good driving range for practice
Course is very fun!
The price that I paid was great. The pace of play was fine.
The fairways are in great shape. The greens need a little work.
The staff in the clubhouse was dismissive. They couldn't care less that we were there to play golf. This is the reason why I do nt play there often. Otherwise the course is fun!
Good to play
I will play in this course again. It is nice well maintained course. Worth of your money.
E\Best for your money
Half an hour away from Orange County, the 2 courses here (North and South) offer enough variety and length to make your golf day a great experience. Course offers lots of good deals through the week.
Wide fairways, well maintained, fun tees, great value
I love playing both of the courses at Los Serranos Country club. They have great rates, especially the twilight discounts. Lots of fun tee shots onto wide fairways and the course is very well maintained. The South is the longest course in California from the black tees and it provides some really fun and challenging tee shots. It's tough to get bored with the variety of holes and hazards and tees. The staff is cordial and accommodating. Definitely a recommended course if you want a fun, rewarding and challenging round.
the course is managed by a professional staff. The facilities were clean and the course well maintained.
The staff of this course is a good bunch of professionals and have been so for a while. This was my daughter's home course while playing for ayala high school. The north course has noticed tremendous improvements including the addition of over twenty bunkers since I last played it; many years ago. the course is reflective of a well oiled tee time generating machine.
The North course has it's challenges
In the Inland Empire conditions differ greatly course to course, however, Los Serranos has got it down. With two courses to choose from, I've never experienced bad conditions on either course.
I actually showed up 5min late for my scheduled tee time,(durring the week@ 11:30) and the starter was very accomidating. He re-arranged times so that I could warm up my swing, gather myself from a frantic morning and ease into great afternoon round. I'm a high handicap but that round I finnally broke 90. Thanks guys!
The course is always packed, expect a long round
A good challenging course and in fair conditions. The only bad thing is that its always packed, sit back and enjoy a 4.5hr+ round.
Well worth the money
This is one of two courses at the same location. This is the 'easier' of the two, but it's still 6800 yars (the South course is 7,575 yards and scary hard from the back). It's a great track that played, for me, in under 4 hours with almost no delays. The greens are in good, not excellent shape, and the fairways were also good, but the track layout is awesome! Give it a try.
