North at Los Serranos Golf & Country Club
About
Los Serranos Country Club boasts two championship golf courses, the North and South. The courses sprawl across 300 acres that are a part of the Don Lugo Spanish Land Grant. Both courses offer a different round from one another, allowing players of all skill levels to find something to their liking at Los Serranos. Los Serranos' North golf course is the shorter of the two measuring in at just under 6,700 yards but every course in southern California can make that claim since the South Course boasts the Jack's Black tees, which make it the area's longest course. The North Course was designed with all skill levels in mind. It is more player-friendly than the South but there are still challenges in store thanks to strategically placed Scottish-style bunkers and tight fairways bordered by rough.

This course has great features
i like course, wheater, activity, everything. i recommend this course to a friend.
Overbooking
You have to wait for 5 minutes per hole as there are two group jammed in front of you. Some golfer spent too much time to find out the balls.
5 Hours 20 Minutes for our round
Course was overall in good condition (greens were nicely maintained) Challenging but fair. Well bunkered greens force you to be careful on many approach shots. Green sizes are generally small, which reward accuracy.
The most disappointing thing for us was the ridiculously long round time. The course was packed. We teed off 10 minutes late due to delays and finished 5 hours and 20 minutes later. Some holes stacked up 3 groups deep. I cannot recommend any course with a pace of play this slow.
Last minor complaint, snack bar at the top of the hill was closed. Considering the amount of people on the course, it would have been nice if this was open.
Very slow play
The golf shop puts tee times too close together and allows 5 players to go out during prime time. Absolutely terrible 1 round averages 5 to 6 hours.
greens were in great condition
course played well. good greens, good fairways. difficulties are in the green side bunkers. almost every hole has multiple bunkers. pace of play was moving well but then backed up on 15. overall good course and pace
You get your moneys worth
You need to play smart but go for it if you have the opportunity, course is always in prime condition
Got rained out weather was horrible only played 5 holes
I like the course but we didn't get to finish the round due to weather. I am a loyal golf now client and ideally I wouldn't mind a free round of golf for two!
course was great
very nice people, nice course, excellent shape, recomended to all to play
Will play course again
My only compliant was on the 6 the hole, a Marshal came up to us and said we had to finish the 9 the hole by 12:15 due to a tournament starting then. The time then was 11:45. Our group didn't think that was an appropriate comment to make at that point.
Had to rush the next holes. Should have said something before we teed off. Might have been ok if we had started on time. We didn't get off until 10am and tee time was 9:45a.
Club house staff not friendly
Golf course is nice but club house staff keep mention how cheap we pay thru golfnow. I don't think he need to ask how much you pay all the time! His attitude you guy from golfnow not welcome here. We get their early and the course is empty he just make us wait, which is ok but when we ask him his answer the same thing How much you pay? Why don't they just stop a deal with golfnow if they want more Money?
The Black Jack Tee Box
One of the longest Courses you can play. The difference from the back tees and the blue tees can be 100 yards. Great course. I love it from every tee box, but The Black Jack tee box makes this one very tough. Fairways are wide enough to keep the ball in play. Greens extra large. Good putting is a must to score. You will enjoy the views. Staff, club house, carts, practice facility are all good. Even the parking lot gives you a view of what you are in store for. Two 18 courses make for fast play. Did I say that I Love this course. Bring a lots of balls (Ballsacks) and you can shoot a very low round on a very good course. Enjoy
Grip It and Rip It
Nice Practice Course just long enough to keep you honest.
Fairways are wide enough to swing away freely. Greens are average and roll true. Pace is nice because the South course gets the majority of the play. Hit the ball well, putt well, score well.
No hidden tricks or unseen tolls here. Straight forward layout with lots of reward for little risk.
Good Greens
The fairways are just average but the greens were good and people seem to fix there ball marks there which is good. Everyone that worked there had a great attitude!!
needs a house cleaning on the course
The course played well and was very popular, the greens rolled smooth for the most part, but the course definitely needs some car. We found trash around the course, a lot of mud through the fairways due to irrigation issues and lots of dead grass. It was not surprising due to the fact of the high traffic, between a junior so cal pga event going on and the regular golfer traffic. It was enjoyable for the most part, but the conditions were definitely not optimal at best.
Fairways need improvements, grass too dry.
Greens are not bad, but fairways are not that great.
loved the course . will come back .
first time playing the north course and loved it . the course was in great shape and can't wait to come back . did not have to wait to tee off . the starter was kind enough to let us start before my schedule time .
mixed conditions
I realize they are working on the course but there are a lot of areas that are not playable or have unplayable lies. Fairway's too patchy and inconsistent. Greens in pretty good shape but they shouldn't be charging full price for a course under such wide spread repair.
Lots of areas with no grass and just dirt!
The fair way was in poor shape and numerous area through the course on fairways ith no grass and rad compact dirt.
