About
The South Course is the more well known of the two championship golf courses at Los Serranos Country Club. The course has a reputation for being one of southern California's longest thanks to the Jack's Black tees, which stretch to more than 7,600 yards. It is a lengthy test, but it is not as intimidating as it seems. The golf course is forgiving with par 5s that give you realistic opportunities to boost your score, though the course should not be taken lightly. Course management is the key to successfully maneuvering the elevation changes and strategically placed bunkers. The golf course finishes with its signature hole, which is also its longest at 673 yards. A lake frames the hole and accuracy with each shot is essential. It is a playable course, but beginners who aren't yet up for the challenge can try their hand at Los Serranos Country Club's shorter, more player-friendly North Course.

Fantastic Greens
Played here with a foursome at 9:53am on the south course. Teed off right on time and played in 4:45 minutes for the round which were both great for a Sunday tee time. Course was in overall good shape with FANTASTIC greens. Greens were rolling perfect and fast with a pace of probably 10.5-11 on the stimpmeter. Overall a great experience and will definitely be back to play soon.
This course waiting too long
Our tee time was 12:15 but we tee off at 1:00. We waited 40 minutes. Every hole there was two carts were waiting till end..We spend 3:40 hours to finish 9 hole....We only can played 12 holes.I played golf for 15 years but never been wait this long at other courses...We day off from work and played this course but worst experience and ruined our day...We will never play golf here...
Fantastic golf course
Los Serranos golf club is my favorite one. Staff is very kind and courteous. Glass conditions is good.
Staff and ranger bad attitude
My tee time was at noon, but we tee off 1:45 pm play only 9holes finished 9th hole around 3:50 pm was so cold already dark. I feel waste time and money.

This course is long ( far 74) and beautiful mountain view. I played golf comfortable.
I enjoyed beautiful scenery.
Drought
Greens was the best thing about the course...Tee boxes were poor @ best especially #6 on the South Course...fairways and rough areas are most evident of the water shortage
Very slow play
We started on 12pm, but we could play through only 12th hole. It was very slow though course condition was good. I would like to play again, but I should select date and time to play smoothly.
Great Deal!
South course is so nicely maintained right now that anything under $40 to rise there is an outstanding deal. So, being able to pay $20 on a Hot Deal is outstanding.
Course was very well maintained, a truly challenging track from thei Blue tees.

Bang for Buck Hidden Southern California Gem
I recently picked up a new Taylormade Aero Burner Driver so there is no other course I can think of better than this course to test length on real world conditions. Considering we were behind (2) 5 sums and still managed to finish in 4.5 hours, they did an extremely good job officiating and scheduling to ensure pace of play was manageable.
seek elsewhere for the money
not worth the money for the condition of the course.
Partners and I will seek other courses in the vicinity.

Love playing this course, with 2 great 18 hole tracks.
Fun Course to play
I enjoy this course. It has a lot of up and down hills and water in play on several holes. the course is in very good shape.
Los Seranos South
Coarse was in good shape. Its a good lay out that plays well over 7,000 yards if you what a challenge. It has tee's for all skill levels. I like to play it from the back tees as the fairways are forgiving and you can test your driving. The coarse has several par 5's.
This course is well maintained.
The conditions are good and the staffs are very friendly.

Great long course with great weather & company made a very enjoyable round of golf.
Slow play.....
4 player played each tee time but it took 5.5 hours. Ridiculous!! Marshalls keep telling me too many people on the course, not a good answer!! They must regulate slow groups. Last two time, I visited same issue.
