About
Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

Pace of play can definitely be an issue here sometimes. But overall I still believe this is one of the better values in golf, the layout is awesome. They did get new carts with a less fancy gps system, but its a gps and it does what it needs. Its still great specially for the price of play. Definitely recommend.

Redhawk golf course is a very sad golf course, ive been apart of their membership for over a year now and woulda left months ago if it wasnt for it being such a good deal and me living 2 minutes away from it. The problems i have with this course is mainly the staff and “marshalls”. The pace of play every time i come here is a 5+ hour round and the only thing rhe marshalls will say is that their is groups in front, Well if there is multiple groups playing slow then it is your job to keep the pace of play a float not just be rude and say theres other groups, Marshall on 11/30/2023 as im out here for 90 minutes waiting on the 4th tee box for a group who is playing way above the max pace of play, they raised tbe membership price because of new carts that took over 10 months to come in from when we werw told they were coming and the GPS system on the carts is the worst most cheap GPS system i have ever seen, would recommend any other course in the temecula area over redhawk golf course as the staff simply just can not keep this place a float

At 9am
So miserably slow. 9 minute spread between tee times on a cart path only day. Took 30 minutes just for FIRST hole. Waiting on every, single, shot. Impossible to get any kind of momentum or rhythm. Left after 9. Six hour rounds are not allowed. Won’t play here again.

Nice Layout
Challenging and interesting course. Not super long but big variety of elevation changes, water, sand, and doglegs. My only criticism would be the severe undulations of some of the greens - impossible to stop your ball anywhere near the hole if you are above the hole.
Lame experience
Just wasn’t friendly or fun
Did not feel welcome, no one lifted a finger to help load bags or anything
Starter was a lazy smar—-
(Sad because I had such a great experience with helpful friendly stater at journey at pechanga)

Wow I play Redhawk every week and I have no idea what this guy is talking about. This sounds like a guy who didn't get his way and had a tantrum.
