Redhawk Golf Club

This was my second time playing at Redhawk and I will definitely play it again. My only complaint would be that the sand traps are not sand. They seem to be more like firm dirt rather than soft sand. Every thing else about the course is very good.

Great course for the 10 - 25 handicappers. Nice layout, greens are very good, some patchy spots in the fairways and tee boxes but hey, it's CA weather. Overall the conditions are very good. Staff was friendly, pace was great. Some long and short holes, which I like. Par 3's are fairly short. If you hit the ball straight you'll score well here.

Everything about this course was great. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in fantastic shape. 19th hole was very welcoming and made some great golf buddies there.

I had forgotten just how nice this course is. Several times I caught myself admiring the course conditions and wondered how they managed to keep it up so well. It's a fairly long course but fast fairways made it not seem as long on certain holes. The pace of play was fine, in fact we had to make sure our group kept pace. The course Marshall was out and about but never had to be called upon. The weather was magnificent with a steady breeze so the greens were nice and on the fast side and if you gave your putts even a little bit too much you could easily have 4 to 5 feet coming back, so beware. I highly recommend this course and am very much looking forward to going back.

The course was in great shape tee boxes were in great shape the fairways were very good sand traps had perfect sand and the greens were very fair and good condition I really liked this course I will be back again very soon

Does Golfnow verify ratings to ensure course staff isn't padding the rating? Greens had 3 or 4 kinds of grass so no putt rolled true.Like watching a snake wiggle around and bounce.

Only positive was the greens would hold an approach shot. Fairway were pasture grass. Thin green stiff, rutty, needed water bad. Maybe in the summer it would be better but for now not so much. Nothing like all the positive rating comments that lead me to want to play this course.

Our overall experience was excellent! The golf experience team were very friendly and accommodating as they recognized that this was our first time at the course. The course was fun to play and offered challenges that were reasonable (no hidden lies or unfair placements). Even though the greens were a bit of a challenge due to their recent punch aeration, the greens were in acceptable shape. The breakfast and lunch was fantastic and the service was excellent and very friendly. Highly recommend and will return when we are in the area.

Really nice course lots of fun and very playable. The pace of play though makes the experience not worth repeating.

Today was a pleasant day out on the course . It started out kind of slow as the starter didn’t have carts labeled , no water buckets ready for golfers instead suggested to wet them on the turn…. Ummm… what about the front 9 ?? …. Anyways, the course was in good shape, the greens were awesome! The pace of play was excellent and we seen the Marshalls several times through out the day asking if we were good. The value for what you pay is right on in my opinion … not over priced by any means and the layout is great for all skill levels with some breath taking Par 3’s and views. It’s definitely one of the better courses around and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this course!

Good conditions, fairways were pretty firm and the greens were rolling nicely! Tough course from the championship tees but a good challenge. Had some guys behind us that were blasting country music and cussing at my group to hurry up even when we were right behind the group in front of us. Called the pro shop and they sent a Marshall out immediately to handle the situation. Lovely staff!

Beautiful day yesterday. Course in great shape. Greens healing up nicely after recent punch. Green speeds fast compared to others I've played recently. So be aware. Still fun. Pace of play was great. Staff very helpful and friendly. Enjoy!
