About
Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

Nice Layout
For this time of year the course was in good shape. Had a 6em in front of us. But it broke up. Had a single join us late then play thru after a couple of holes. Had a group jump in front of us at 17 and held us up on 18. Maybe a marshal on the course would help in the future.
Starter has a major attitude !!!
We came early, hoping to finish before the sun set.
He said we couldn’t go earlier because we didn’t pay the full green fee! We met another couple, and he told them the same thing. We sat by the starter for OVER AN HOUR, with NOBODY teeing off!!🙁. Why were we treated in such an unprofessional way?
We felt belittled because we were GolfNow members.
It’s OK
Played 11/17/22 at 1pm. For time of year course was in good shape. Greens, fairways and tee boxes were fine. Finished in 4 hours flat. Only area I would say needs improvement is maybe some Marshall’s on the course to keep track of players. Had a six’s in front of us with some guys moving infront of others.

Needs some course maintaining
Great layout, great course, however it was very wet conditions. Fairways were brown and sloppy in some places. Greens held great and were good, it seemed like a lot of tee boxes were under repair also. So maybe just the time of year it was? The starter was slow and grumpy, the pro shop was good, and snack bar was great.

Good course with a couple challenging holes
My son and I are not exactly great players. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed this course. Very scenic, and the staff was friendly. Giving me a small bag of ice for my beer to stay cool was a nice touch. All in all, a really nice course.

Greens had just been punched and sanded so played slow, but generally the round was fun. Lots of variety in the holes, wide fairways, and Big greens.

I play Redhawk a lot. I see people that make a twilight tee time and come early expecting to get out before the twilight time at the twilight rate. If you want to go early pay the extra. If you would have done that you would have been able to go. Twilight is a discount rate for a reason.
