About
Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

Enjoyable round
A perfect for golf. Course condition only rated average
because greens are recovering from aeration. Otherwise
the course is in good shape and a great track.
Pretty solid
Most of the reviews I’ve seen is about the greens there is only one green that is bad.
repairs
the greens are well taken care of, however the course requires general maintenance / lawns must be mowed, excess grass trimmings must be removed, and tree debris must be removed, and all signs must be replaced. Change personnels moody contentions to a smile and welcome attitude.
Pretty good time
The greens need a little work. Staff very friendly the driving range isn’t the nicest but nice. Overall good fairways and good time would go back.

Good layout but not great conditions
Heard a lot about this course and that it was the best in Temecula. The layout is nice and challenging but the conditions were not great. Tee boxes were decent, fairways were good, greens were bad. Couldn't trust a line on a putt with all the bumps. Many patchy dirt areas on greens too which is never good. One green was being re done entirely and there was a temporary green in the fairway. Considering the green conditions and the temporary green I don't thing the full price of $80 is justified, should have been some discount or at least a free range bucket. I'd like to replay it when it's in better shape.
Course in rough shape
I live in Redhawk and have played this course numerous times. It seems to be getting worse each time I play it. Played with a buddy and he was commenting on the poor upkeep of the course as well. For the price and unless there is an improvement overall I'll be playing at Temecula Creek and Cross Creek moving forward. A shame since I live on the #5 fairway. Watch out for #10. It has a short make shift green (while the main #10 green was under repair) that we were not warned about.

Redhawk Golf
Course was unfortunately in terrible condition. Multiple greens had nothing but dirt on them (no grass whatsoever). Fairways and roughs were marginal. I've played this course many-many times but this round was undeniably the worst ever. The staff as usual were friendly and very helpful. Redhawk is a local course for me. I sincerely hope they get the course back into playing condition. Until then I DO NOT recommend it. Sorry Redhawk.

Rough conditions
Tee boxes- okay
Fairway- good
Rough- very long and grass not picked up; hard to find your ball even though you hit it in a decent spot
Greens- absolutely terrible. MANY dead spots on every green - very poor conditions

Beautiful layout
We have frequent Redhawk pretty often this year.
The layout is beautiful, the greens are well maintained, and the staff is awesome.
Although the layout is beautiful, I feel that hydration station are definitely needed around the #5 and #13 holes.
The weather is normally hot and we find ourselves calling it quits after the first 9 due to heat exhaustion.
Very nice course!
Had an excellent day here, played at 11:40 tee time. Course in good condition except for 2 greens were a lil sketch otherwise fairways and greens all good. Excellent signage around holes and tee boxes on where to go to next hole. Pace of play was good, done in 3.5 hrs!! Would play here again in a minute!!!
Not for $70 tee times!!!’
Played here last year and had a great time, things have changed.
Course is in below average shape. One green was on a fairway! This is a $45 dollar tee time at best.
Temecula Creek or Journeys next time.

Could be better
Fairways were getting fairly bare. Many areas where there was no grass but water-logged. Not many players on this day so pace of play was very good. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Discrimination
They said that my dress code is not available to play golf at course .
My dress code was golf short, golf shoes and shirts which was kind of tiger woods shirts which doesn’t have collar on the shirt .
It is definitely discrimination.
Because when i checked their dress code on there website , they are showing that Appropriate golf attire.

It is absolutely discrimination.
I play this course weekly. They have an Asian owner, Asian General Manager, and Asian 1st Assistant. Most of the members are Asian. A dress code is not discrimination.
