About
Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

BC Golf
Course was in ok shape. Some of the bunkers have stuff growing throughout the bunker.one green had patch work done on it. Other greens had dead spots. A full bucket of balls was 16 bucks. Three beers were 19 bucks. I guess their trying to make the profit back from the last year or so.

Nice track
I enjoyed my round until the 16th hole. We didn't play the last three holes because of the slow pace . I estimate the last three holes would have taken 1-1/2 hours to finish. I would love to play here again during the week to see if POP is better
As expected and that's how it should be!!
I was told to play this course years ago, but never quite got to it. Finally made and it generally lived up to the expectation.
Tee boxes - Lots of options for varying skill levels.
Fairways - Good condition. Couple thin spots, but perfectly acceptable.
Greens - Couple greens needed a little work. There were some dead spots or some active patches trying to recover. It didn't really affect their playability though. Good news is the greenskeepers recognize it and are trying to remedy. Greens were quite slow and could've used a trim. Otherwise, good to go.
Couple other notes - Whoever decided pin placements this past weekend was a sadistic individual. It wasn't one or two devious positions, the majority were super difficult.
The Landing is a good lil joint to grab lunch and the beverage cart came around fairly often. In fact, probably the most I've seen a beverage cart in a long time. Kudos to them.
Overall - I'd recommend to others and will play again. Hopefully with nicer tee positions.
Green
Very slow
I never played such slow green at RedHawks ever
Great round
Course is in good to fair shape. Some creams are struggling with large dead spots on some. Fairways are green and dying out in some spots. Overall it’s a great place to play!!
Good time on the course
The course is in great condition from tee to green. Played a round in the standard 4 hrs with the course busy. Highly recommend playing.
