About
Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

Greens in great condition
Love the layout of this course, beautiful par 3s. Course is in good condition with true rolling greens.
Always enjoy Redhawk
Redhawk is a challenging course in great condition. The layout includes a variety of holes. Staff members are wonderful and the cantina is one of my favorites. Too bad it closes fairly early these days.
Very slow round
I had played here once before, but it was a very long time ago. Conditions were alright. Fairways, tees, and greens were in decent shape but nothing really pristine. Layout was ok, with a few too many blind tee shots. My main complaint was the pace, which was over 5 hours. I expected better even on a weekend tee time at 11:50.

I was very impressed with this course. Greens were perfect, fairways in great shape, rough was challenging. The entire course is very well maintained and playing from the Tour tees provides all the length you need for a great day of golf.
Great course
Grew up playing this course and came back to play it almost 10 years later. Even better than what I remember. For the lack of rain in the SoCal area, this track is in great shape. Fairways play great, greens roll very smooth, and the rough is perfect. Pace of play was better than expected as went out after some groups in a league. Staff was very friendly and atmosphere was laid back. Wish I could play this course more!

Has potential
The course is a unique layout and hi winds made the back 9 challenging.
The greens are slow and a few in rough shape on the back nine. The rough is very thick in spots so stay in the short grass.
The staff is very kind and engaging. It’s a good course and needs additional bunker repair ( looks like they are working on it).
I’ll return again and see if things get better. It was a fun course and tight in several areas so wild hitters beware.
