About
Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

challenging every time
the design/layout is challenging for all levels of players every time playing here. You need to think about ball position every hole, or they will go to the collection area on some holes no matter what you do. The layout makes me to come back again and again primarily challenging myself. The greens are not very big, but with undulations and tiers, 3-putt is in play many greens.
The recent couple rounds I played were is Feb and March, the fairways are not in the best condition this time of the year. Hope the following seasons will improve on that. Definitely will come back soon. Worth the drive of 50 min.
Pace of play
No Marshall very slow play especially on the back nine. Afternoon start. Need to send Marshall out to get things moving.

RedHawk
Overall the course is nicer than what I expected. The course layout is great specially the 17th hole. The grass on the fairways are fairly maintained, the putting greens on every hole is nice and well maintained. I would play this course again and recommend it to a friend.
Challenging Course
The course was in great shape although the tee boxes and greens had been aerated (noted in the booking). We played the round in just over 3 hours as a twosome teeing off at 7:40. The change of elevations and the need to think about club selection off the tee made the round even more interesting. I look forward to playing it again.

Course is coming around. Pace of play was ok. I would play this course again. Very nice course!
Fun course
I like the layout of this course, it's both challenging and fair. The staff was very nice . The only issue I have is the course condition is not commensurate to the course price . They are asking a premium price for a course in average condition. Other than that it's a nice track.

BC Golf
Greens were bumpy from being punched I guess a few weeks ago. Fairways were not in the kind of shape I was expecting. I’ve played here before and the fairways were always in good shape.

Spring condition
The course needs some teaching in the fairways and the Tee boxes need some work. But overall the course is in spring condition

Great Course
We play Redhawk EVERY time we get to Temecula. A great, beautiful course with challenges to keep the game really interesting. Tee time can be awkward as this course is popular (for good reason). Play it as often as you can. Enjoy.

Don't Do it
I used to play here back in the day and what a great course it once was. The course is in bad shape and run horribly. Starter sent me out as a single on Saturday without telling me there was a High School tournament 3 holes in front of me. Of course, I caught the tourney after playing just 3 holes. I was moved to the 17th hole and played 2 more holes and was done. Asked for a credit for another day and they would only give me a "prorate" for 13 holes. This place is a total joke and I understand this happens frequently. DO NOT PLAY THIS GOLF COURSE
